Toyota FJ Cruiser - no additional words are necessary - resale value speaks for itself.

Fiero! As per usual GM tradition, they killed it off just when it got good

Not one car, but a whole brand: Pontiac

The El Camino. There should always be a light sports sedan-truck, and it should have been the El Cam.

The Biden administration does not control private companies. You seem to want him to, but that would be that communism thing you keep warning us about.

LOL, the U.S. is a net exporter of crude oil.... so, guess what... we do produce our own! The rest of your diatribe is similarly misinformed.

The shortage is a global situation. The EU is at its lowest supply since 2004, and the U.S. supply has dwindled in part due to the significant exports of diesel to the EU to assist with their shortages resulting from Russia’s war, the French refinery worker strike, and overall refinery closures due to the pandemic.

Yeah but this way the fossil fuel industry can help the GOP sweep the midterms and usher in our inevitable future as an authoritarian petro-state.

Well I’d prefer to buy a Japanese car, but I don’t want to spend $70k on a Lexus that I have to “settle” for because it is all I can get.

Get the Ineos Grenadier.

Oh fer fucks sake, you live in texas. Just buy a used beater truck. Spend 10K on something to haul parts and drive through water and if it gets ruined, it’s practically disposable. Then spend 50k on something nice.

Nah - fuck paperless menus. That is fast food shit. I kind of got it during the `rona, but now i want a real menu to order from. I think of eating at a restaurant as phone free time. I DO NOT want to get out my phone and deal with your shitty pdf or non web optimized site to look at your food offerings.

Honestly there’s always been some irrational part of me that was concerned at handing my card to a stranger who would walk away with it for several minutes, plenty of time to copy my card number down and hold onto it for long enough that they are no longer implicated when they rob me.

So when her "pro-life" self realized she had to die for her beliefs, she suddenly wanted the right to choose? Funny how that works.

it wouldn’t matter if this was her kids. if doing what feels best puts a whole bunch of other people at risk (who also have people they love) then it’s the wrong thing to do, full stop. doing the right thing means being mature and not being selfish about what gives you the greatest emotional gain. it’s not for nothing

Walmart: which will gleefully cause suppliers to provide product at cost or even at a loss because they’re the only game in town. It’s why I refuse to shop there.

Out of curiosity, I compared prices for this sandwich and the regular roast beef sandwich, the Big John. The Big John has lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise standard. I can add onions and pickles for free, but there’s no option to add cheese, onion strings or thousand island dressing. The Big John is $7.29 and the Beefy

Maybe it is just me, and my weird preferences... but somehow describing a sandwich with the word CRUNCH just makes my brain recoil in horror.  Like, that is not a selling point I am looking for.  Also, I would not use Crunch to describe lettuce and/or fresh onions.  Crisp perhaps but not crunch.

Does it contain endangered elephant meat?

The dealership model has a lot of hidden incentives for money to be made. Invoice price really means nothing. They get kickbacks from the manufacturer, lender, Gap, Extended Warranty, even SiriusXM.
