They see masks the way their cult leader told them to see them - as a violent attack on their persons. They are told the disease is a lie. That every one who believes in either masking or Covid is worse than a Nazi.

I wish I had a good chronic masturbator joke at the moment, they always come in handy.
If I know my German (which I don’t), I think it’s probably Oberemittelklassemitüberzogenemkreditvolkswagen
Reverse:
“How do you say “Upper middle class with overextended credit people’s car” in German?"
But, there’s a big, beautiful wall. The best wall. Many people are saying it!
Not if your employer is paying for the move.
It is the privately owned ordinary cars that are the true losses, because those are cars people cared enough for to tranship rather than replace. They meant something to someone, and that is a shame to lose those emotional connections.
Actually, the LT with the 1.4t was a fun little runabout. Very chuckable, torque rich, inexpensive, and fit 4 adults no sweat.
China is innovating and patenting the shit out of renewable tech so that they will effectively corner the market while we’re still dicking around with coal and keeping it on life support well past the point it should have died thanks to President Fucking J. Moron. They were bold and saw an opportunity to make some…
China is doing far more renewables than any other country as well. This year they are on track to have 50% of their energy be non-fossil fuel.
It’s orders of magnitude more expensive to store a ton of carbon than it is to prevent a ton of carbon emissions by, say, replacing some coal power with some wind power. And that’s not gonna change any time soon.
Carbon capture will probably eventually need to be part of the solution, and it certainly deserves research…
you are correct. Also, we won’t do anything significant about it until at least 3 feet of sea level rise happens.
It’s the most expensive per kwh. And that price doesn’t include the waste storage for 100s of years.
Nuclear is like democracy. As solutions go it’s terrible, but it’s the best option we’ve got right now.
Don't have kids.
No. Disaster is happening now. We need to take action to mitigate it. There is no “or never”. The longer we take to get our shit together the worse it is going to get. There’s no avoiding the crisis we are experiencing right now, and there is no line to cross where we can no longer do anything to stop it.

Might as well get all the TruCoat jokes in now:
I’m going in a non-brand specific direction and stating that the worst hot hatch is any car with an automatic transmission. No matter how lowly a manual car is, you can still thrash the sh*t out of it for some entertainment value. And if it’s a generally sucky car, that just means that you can get them cheaper.…
