Depends on where you live.

My policy is that if I see a bright light and intense heat, I’m stripping naked and running INTO it. I don’t necessarily WANT to survive for the apocalypse.

Not this person, at least. I purposely bought an ILX with a 2.4 and a 6MT because I wanted something a bit nicer than the civic. I have passed on many cars because I couldn’t get the manual without giving up the bells and whistles. I want all the fun toys, and I want to row my own gears. I plan to purchase one of

It’s the fact he referenced doing an extremely basic US DoD course that caught my eye. Like it’s oddly specific to refer to by name as opposed to just saying “started training today”.

I think you’re exaggerating a *lot* to get to that $45K price. Remember, the current ILX is pretty much loaded at $33K. This vehicle will be a few $K’s more, but I doubt it’ll exceed $35K with the MT.

I’d rather pay more for a manual than be punished for it. Most of the few remaining manual options these days are only for the base motor or models with no options.

Obviously it would be nice to see on all trim levels, but compared to the past practice of making it an option on only the cheapest models, this is better. Its an enthusiast option so they put it on the enthusiast model. Take rate on lower series is probably near zero.

The upgraded interior is gonna be great for a certain subset of buyers — people who don’t necessarily need to show off luxury (it’s still a 30k car) but who want more comforts, amenities, and higher-quality interior touchpoints. Making it a liftback, too, adds a definite value proposition.

It’s part of a new series “What The Fuck Are You On About, Because Literally No One Is Doing Any Part Of This, For Christ’s Sake”.

It is for this very reason that I chose not to LS-swap my NA Miata. I have yet to drive anything swapped with an LS and I very much want to. It is, as RegularCars stated, the GameGenie of engines. If you have an LS, YOU WIN!

For the price of gas, it doesn’t really matter where the US gets its oil from. Simplified: Your gas prices are based on oil prices, and oil prices are determined internationally.

They SHOULD BE. Because so far, a former president who literally staged a coup, who has made it all but clear that he intends to run again, who as we speak is hand picking state vote counting people who have more or less made it known they thing the election was “Stolen” and will absolutely make sure he wins no matter

You’re trying to apply logic to the situation. They don’t care about that. They still blame Biden for gasoline price increases and “loss of energy independence” for canceling an unfinished pipeline.

This is America where we learned slacktivism. The only hurt they are willing to accept is putting a Ukraine flag on their social media profile.

The thing is “Democrat who doesn’t support single-payer healthcare and student loan forgiveness” and “Republican who commits borderline treason and wants to create a fascist dictatorship in America” is a huge difference you can’t dismiss with Both Sides are Bad.

Why in the fuck would anyone want to kill an elephant? They’re gentle, intelligent creatures. Fuck Jimmy Johns and their flaccid sandwiches.

That is the overwhelming sentiment, but people aren’t rational and Republicans will still blame Biden/Democrats for the high prices.

The psychotic hypocrisy of Republicans kills me... They’re now effing animals incapable of thinking rationally.

If these hunters care so much for conservation, why don’t they take the money they spend on big game hunting safaris and instead donate it, or at least make it a photo safari?

He enjoys killing large animals, according to many reliable news outlets.
