All I read was $100K to blow on 2 cars at the worst possible time to buy 2 cars and already has reliable car

This is a tough one. I suspect that the seller knows there is some major expensive work that needs doing, and is trying to unload it as fast as possible so that the next owner gets stuck with the bill.
I like how you think.
My dream would be Anita Hill. Depending on how Clarence Thomas would react, we might get a second spot out of it.
because you’re smart enough to know they’d pay you in certificates and McDonald’s monopoly tickets
My bolts will break, but not loose. I can already tell you that.
No, but a squiggly in front of 17% would.
Best of luck David! Can’t wait for the epic writeup(s?) to come.
Damn DaSilva, back at it with the shitty takes!
10 year challenge:
First of all, this is a loaded question because we keep redefining “muscle car”. It used to be pretty narrow - It had to be made between 1964 and 1972, and the Camaro/Mustang didn’t count because they were “pony cars.” So the Mustang II should never make the list, even if you extend the era. It was never meant to be…
I honestly thought that would be the plan for the van. I’m not sure what the point is to importing it, but having a Jalop-worthy vehicle in Europe is material for endless stories.
Please save your money (for other impulse purchases)
Personally, my favorite of the '60s GM muscle cars is the Oldsmobile 442. Big, great sounding V8, fantastic styling, it has the old package. If I had unlimited funds it would be in my garage for sure.
Faulty argument. The problem (for some) is the application of the GTO badge, not the car itself. Fine. You can have that. But the GTO was and remains a GREAT car, especially with the manual and the 6.0 LS2, and is one of the few from that era I’d still happily plunk down some coin for. It’s fun to drive, handles well,…
The GTO is the worst? How quickly you forget the Volare Road Runner and Aspen R/T.
Y’all are out of your damn mind. Unless there’s a briefcase with $15K in the rear, I don’t give a crap how rare a 33-year old K-Car is at this price.
Also, are we past the point that people are too young to remember that 100K meant your car was a ticking time bomb in the 80s?
Just leave it there, so you’ll always have transportation there. You seem to go to Europe enough to have a car there.
Trump apparently wanted a higher class of insurrectionist. NY Magazine reported that he was disgusted with how low class his supporters looked on TV.
The Right Wing Outrage Machine only works if you remove any and all context from whatever their outrage du jour is. It’s functioned like this for years. Remember when they got all mad about Obama saying “you didn’t build that”? The full context reveals that Obama was talking about roads and bridges and the public…
