I’d apply a thin line of silver oil based model paint to the groove on the harmonic balancer. Semi-permanent and easy to see with the timing light.

Hatchbacks basically exist solely as entry-level vehicles at this point. Making fast, expensive versions of them is chasing a non-existent market.
