The problem is towing. As a comparison, when towing our RV trailer at 65 mph the mileage in my Ram goes from 25 down to 11-12. That’s at least a 52% decrease in range.

Volkswagens are way more entertaining to drive than a Camry or Accord IMHO.

LOL, I had a new BMW 4 series come up behind me the other day, and couldn’t believe how hideous it looked. For once, people really weren’t exaggerating about how bad it is!

Thank you for an excellent review, and an understanding of what a luxury car should be. I still blame “professional” automotive journalists for convincing Cadillac 20 years ago it had to compete with BMW.
