ND, and he didn’t color coordinate well.  I would have made the paint on the rollbar and top material match the color of the wheels.  The motor transplant looks pretty good, though.

Easy Answer:

That’s fine, if you judge a car solely by financial standards. For me, old cars are a hobby. Sometimes I make money or break even; usually I lose :).

I may be a weirdo, but I’ve always thought it would be cool to find one of these “new” older cars and daily it like it was 1994 (or 1975, 1986 etc.).  NP because there is probably none better on planet earth.

They really weren’t all bad.  I bought my first new car as a senior in high school: a 1988 Mercury Tracer.  Really a pretty sophisticated  and well optioned little car.

It looks like an honest old truck, but $7,000? Really? CP.

Well said

As we commonly say here on Jalopnik: rare does not equal valuable.

And yet, unless I’m mistaken it was a Democrat President (Clinton) who last balanced the budget.

It’s also really disturbing none of our “leaders” are even talking about reigning in spending or balancing the budget. Republican or Democrat: they’re all money whores.

Some of it is just supply constraints, like building materials, ammo and silicon chips.

I hear this “argument” alot, and is completely disingenuous. A baby is innocent; a felon who has been convicted of homicide, rape, torture, child molestation etc. is not.

Man’s permission has nothing to do with it. As a consenting adult, you have the right to have sex with whomever you please.

I can answer that: no.  If you make a life you are responsible for taking care of it, so make wise choices!

IMHO many politicians are sociopaths.  Normal people don’t run for office.

Because he’s a big fat liberal.

The best C3 is a 1968.

I was more offended by the fact he was sitting in a tri-5 Chevy in the lead photo.  A generic classic car if there ever was one.

Agreed.  I think that black cab and chassis would look great with just a flatbed.

Some commentators here don’t like it, and Rob referred to the “Vader seats.”  Personally, I like it.
