25% of the year? Lol, you’re spoiled. Where I lived before moving to Florida the winters are October -May. It gets tough trying to stay optimistic.

I would never buy it, but compared to the numerous other Darts for sale here in the Southeast it’s a Nice Price!
Rented a 300S to travel to the U.P. and back last winter. Even with the 3.6, it had plenty of power and good seats. Only complaint was it had optional 19" r 20" wheels and could of used a little more sidewall in the tires.
What you were experiencing there was the massive torque that 472 put out. My parents had a ‘71 Coupe deVille when I was a teenager. It was like driving a damn spaceship!
He got the right axle. 3.73s with limited slip is the way to go.
I waffled on this, in spite of a fascination with low mileage original cars. At the end of the day it’s still a nice price based on mileage and condition.
I once bought a ‘55 Packard Clipper at auction that had been sitting for 20+ plus years. Surprisingly, the thing fired right up from a gas can fed line.
Reverse: can’t believe that dick is still alive.
I did. Hence the comment.
Have you guys checked the prices on these lately? They’re practically giving this one away!
Uh OH. You’ve angered the Eco-terrorists now!
Minnesota born and raised here. My winter driving tip is to move to Florida.
Agreed. I wouldn’t buy one of these to daily, either.
Naw, maybe the door handles...
One of my classmates had a Grand Am in high school. At the time it was considered quite fetching.
I have, and understand your stance. Like it or not, it’s still a part of our automotive history.
Agreed, but people generally admire the cars that were around when they grew up.
If you are in the market for a Honda Accord, this car would hold no appeal for you.
Not understanding the hate here, (and there is a lot of hate on Jalopnik). This is a relatively rare car with low miles for the age and it offers somewhat decent performance. Yes, it’s a salvage title but this car falls into the fuck it money category for many. NP.
I understand the overwhelming No Dice vote here. None the less, these are rare in stick form and that price is not out of line. NP.
