Variety reports HBO Max Latin America has ordered Batman Azteca: Choque de Imperios, a new take on the Batman mythos from Warner Bros. Animation, Particular Crowd, Mexico’s Anima and Book of Life producer, Chatrone. The story will focus on “a young Aztec boy named Yohualli Coatl, whose father, village leader

This guy is clearly a cop.

If you let the cops in, you’re basically giving them consent to search. There’s flavors and variations in laws. But one trick police will do is they will say, “Mind if I come in to talk?” and they’ll lean forward and angle their body as though it’s a foregone conclusion that you will let them in. That’s a sure sign

American accented, vaguely evil Chris Hemsworth, is the scariest Chris.  See: Bad Times at the El Royale.  Of two weird hotel movies starring big names from 2018.

Nowhere in the article does it suggest that Voight is bad at acting. There’s plenty of evidence, however, to suggest that he’s either mentally unstable or just a regular fascist. I might not have written the article with as much snark, but it’s fine to be disappointed when a movie people were looking forward to casts

Not everyone is capable of separating the art from the artist. You’re not a bad person if you can, and you’re not a bad person if you can’t, but you might be a bad person if you call other people “childish, stupid, and self-congratulatory” for having a visceral reaction to seeing someone they despise shoehorned into a

At first glance, that’s what I read.

Quite aside from the general awesomeness of the first film boding really well for more, I’m very excited for a pregnant Spider-Person. Back when everyone was posting their ‘spidersona’ (and I was having lots and lots of fertility treatment), I couldn’t resist drawing one... (badly).

Stephen Root. Have it be a film that reveals that Stephen Root the actor is actually a serial killer who steals the identities of the “characters” he plays (by murdering people and copying their mannerisms, etc.) Call it “The Root of all Evil”.

They really screwed up the V reboot by turning it into a cult of personality with a brood queen instead of an entire civic organization doing nice things in order to seize power. Very much missing the point.

Rae Sloan is the perfect example of this. For all of its imperfections, the old canon was pretty good about portraying the Empire as a generally awful place to live. It was bureaucratic, misogynistic, racist, authoritarian, petty, violent, and highly focused on it’s on a small class of people holding a lot of power.

Same energy

Are you being deliberately obtuse or are you actually dull enough to not get the absolute basics of why pausing is a good thing for games to let you do?

I mean, they hired the person who “fixed” their original work through their own deepfakes, so it better be improved over Mando season 2's.

He was offworld headlining Jizzchella

Now playing

He doesn’t want Grogu to be distracted by attachments and, at the end of the episode, presents Grogu with a choice: Mandalorian armor or a lightsaber. Yoda’s lightsaber, in fact. Luke is telling Grogu he can train as a Jedi, or be with his father figure, but not both.

Did either of you watch Clone Wars? Before that I would have agreed with the two of you. Boba was just a guy in a cool suit. But after seeing Clone Wars there is at least a bit more to him. He is going from angry child, to emotionless bounty hunter, to possibly someone who is going to do some good in the galaxy.  It

You missed Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Caddyshack, and This is Spinal Tap....

You know how you know something ain’t right but it’s funny and then Neil deGrasse Tyson jumps out of a closet and fucks up your whole day?
