I’m also fairly certain that the figures at the end of the episode were phase 2 Dark Troopers, so lots of Dark Forces references. :)

Now if only Warners could remove Rowling.
Bottom line, Han having shot first makes him a more interesting character at his intro.
But that’s exactly the point - we’re not supposed to know Han is a good guy. I get that Lucas is dealing with archetypes, with obvious good guys and bad guys, but Han still fits into a mold - the rogue who turns out to have a heart of gold. We’re supposed to believe he’s out for himself, he says throughout the whole…
At that point, Han isn’t a good guy. He’s a drug smuggler. He only becomes truly good when he returns at the end. He’s a shade of grey in an otherwise black and white universe.
He’s not a good guy at that point though. Han’s whole thing is that he starts off as a self-serving dick who only looks out for himself, then develops into a true hero by the end of the movie.
I know it’s annoying to complain about but honestly it’s valid IMO. CGI has gotten much better but it still pulls me out of a film much easier than a practical effect. We’re decades deep into using CG and the movies/shows that put a lot of thought and planning into combining practical and CG effects stand out to me…
Roald Dahl Cinematic Universe or GTFO.
It’s giving me a Tim Burton’s Charlie and The Chocolate Factory/Planet of the Apes vibe. I can’t say it’s going to be hated, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the general reaction would be a: “Meh. It was there.”
Great cameo by Garnet from Steven Universe:
It’s boring until you look at it up close. It’s elegant, with a design that has a lot of little things, like the deep cuts in the grip, and the angular parts that sort of blend in to make it look rounder than it is. It’s a subtle design that fits the character.
If I were one of the shoppers there at the time, I’d have grabbed a can of soda (preferably some kind that will stain), shook it up, and popped it all over them. If they’re eager to spray their aerosols on me, I will return the favor.
I feel like if an unmasked yelling person comes within 6 feet of you, you should be well within your right to pepper spray them
De La Soulless
They should have been pepper sprayed, and had their fucking asses kicked, and be banned from Target for life.
She claims that, it’s BS. You don’t mock the idea of pronouns as a sign of solidarity.
Gina posted something about talking to Pedro about helping her understand pronouns, then promptly updated her profile to “Beep/bop/boop”, then said it wasn’t meant to mock anyone but to highlight the bullying Trans people face. That may have been her intent, I don’t know, but it sure as hell read like mockery.

“TERF” isn’t a slur.
Because touching on a history that most Americans are ignorant of is “pounding people over the head”
