There’s the response I was looking for!
At last.... green tittays!!!
I just want it to finish the fuck up so I can finally read it. I was looking forward to it but didn’t want to wait month to month(s) for completion. After all the delays, I’m glad I did but still eager to finally dive in.
Stealth technology officially confirmed for Fast & Furious 9
That fucking sucks. Swamp Thing was far and away the most interesting offering from DC Universe. Unless they beef up their digital comic catalog significantly I can’t see keeping it turned continuously instead of just switching it back on again for a month when a possible second season of Doom Patrol is complete.
Man, I thought for sure Titus Welliver was going to be in it after the facial hair he was sporting in his Law & Order: SVU arc. I figured he must’ve been shooting both at the same time because otherwise it was an odd choice for his character.
Besides Good Will Hunting and River I’d say check out Aberdeen (it’s on Amazon Prime now) too where he stars opposite Lena Headey (Cersey from GoT.) He’s got an gigantic list of credits and is always fun to watch though.
I’ll second River. I’ve watched it multiple times as well and recommend it anytime I can. Nicola’s my favourite actress, but they’re both incredible in that. I’ve liked him in many things, but that’s probably his best work.
I was happy to see Lily Gladstone back again this week. She should be a bigger deal by now. I’ve been hoping to see more of her since her appearance in 2016's Certain Women. Her story opposite Kristen Stewart was easily the best of the three in the movie, and she gave a fantastic performance. If you haven’t seen it…
Nice Hornby and Stephen Frears’ State Of The Union with Rosamund Pike was the VASTLY superior Chris O’Dowd’s in troubled marriage drama I watched this week. Landecker was wasted here. And I don’t know what show you were watching, but the pacing was still off. They could’ve trimmed 12-15 minutes easily from this.…
I’ll let everyone else fight about whether it was any good or not. For me, Game of Thrones was at its best here:
NOPE. Nothing about this has been smart, and there are most definitely not complex characters involved anymore. Diane went from nuanced and dignified on the old show to a one note, obsessed raving loon. Lucca got turned into an accessory for a shitty character and actor for the first two seasons, and now she’s a…
It was kind of a mess but enjoyable enough in a few spots. Tina Fey stole the whole thing though, with Cherry Jones coming in a close second. Also enjoyed the Wendy & Lisa score along with The Revolution (sans Prince) doing “I Would Die 4 U” over the end credits.
different people (not even professional comedians!) repeating the same obvious jokes over and over again, with minimal variation.
For a second I thought we were getting a remake of this, from when I was a kid.
Finding you in the greys is always depressing. Fucking kinja.
