As someone who actually lives in a foreign land, I’d be interested in seeing those sources. Here in western Europe, he’s been the most respected U.S. president in decades.

Nationalism is the purest moron dope.

How is that well known?

is it?

Heavy duty vehicles are the second biggest source of CO2 emissions in the U.S.

Large businesses will see the savings. If PepsiCo outsources shipping and their current partner doesn’t lower their rates they will switch to someone else who will. Anyone with enough revenue will see the savings because there is so much competition for big accounts.

That will all trickle down and eventually we, the consumers, will be able to save money as well.

Rather have a six cylinder Fiat? Fine.

Its no longer with us, so now its the Exterra. :-)

Agreed, if only the front were as square and utilitarian, it would be reminiscent of the old understated-ly handsome ‘80s Toyota Pickups...

Judging from the way “Yes, This Is My Truck — No, I Won’t Help You Move” bumper stickers are available in about three dozen different designs — and also judging from the array of smashed household goods available at the side of the road, courtesy of people who get the pickup part but were not so clear on load

I’m not sure if you’ve ever moved before or not, but what you just said happens to be completely false. A panel van would probably be better than a pickup and a box truck better than either, but certainly not a minivan.

Or a smaller daily driver and renting a truck or van with all the money you save on gas.

This things works perfectly with that scenario. Perfect size for occasional smaller items that need to go in a bed but still not big enough for moving furniture really.

Meh, the National Review is a pretty biased source. As is the USMC, to be honest.

Bullshit.

I’m calling BS. My r/t challenger only does 23 straight hwy. My 2500 hemi (2003 model, 4x4) ranges from 10-14 in mixed driving.

The Ecodiesel Laramie only tows 8000 pounds and has 1000 lbs payload. Its much more made for mpg than heavy hauling. That puts it at the very low end of 1/2 ton fullsizes (more in line with midsize truck performance), while the XD is on the upper end.

(That being said. I could see this ad actually convincing some dirty hipster who just got their first job as an Account Representative for Yelp to buy a Renagade over the Veloster or Soul they were already considering.)
