Then we would need a parliament rather than a congress.

“And how’s that for irony: a man who spend the 1970s and 80s abusing speed talking about how drugs are bad.”

I cannot understand why people get ‘offended’ when a white person opens... say, a Chinese restaurant. Or a Mexican restaurant. Do white people get angry if an Asian family opens a burger joint in their neighborhood? Or if a Mexican women opens a deli specializing in kosher foods? Oh, the horror!

“It’s not good because it’s not anything.”

I am in no way saying Notre Dame is ugly.

“...so it will only be poor women and women of color who die.”

Let’s hope it lasts.

“This was the result of a few months of holidaying around...”

Again, tech has CREATED far more jobs than it has eliminated. I’m not sure how much more clearly it can be stated.  Don’t hurt yourself holding up the falling sky. Godspeed.

I recently bought a SSD to replace the magnetic drive in my laptop. The cloning process was so easy (I used a Samsung drive and their software) that I think I will simply buy a second drive and clone that from now on for backups. That reflectance changes (decreases) in the presence of water.   The

“This is a healthy back and forth, and no system is completely invulnerable, despite what companies may claim.”

There have been people that loathed automation/tech since before the industrial revolution. Advancements have CREATED far more jobs than those eliminated. Every generation has a constituency that ‘fears the machines...’ This is nothing new. And as always, the fears fizzle out.

“...a creeping sense of dread as robots come for virtually everything we do...”

You are sharing someone’s personal vehicle?  IDK.

Are all Lyft drivers full time?

I think you need to realize that 99% of us ‘white folks’ don’t care. I see way more whining and complaining about anything race related here on thegrapevine, the root etc. I can assure you the vast majority of white people are perfectly fine with any and all colors producing, starring in, directing any form of movie,
