Just dropping by for my usual plug about how the F-35 money could have been spent to put us on Mars. $1 trillion is about an order of magnitude greater than what was spent on Apollo in its heyday years.

The F-35 has gotten so far out of control it’s ridiculous. At what point do you just cut your losses and start fresh? Just throwing money at a money pit isn’t going to solve the problem. It’s been pretty conclusively shown that the F-35 has some major design flaws.
