That just tells me that the Left needs to get behind the 2nd. The Second Amendment is the way we defend the First; all the rest for that matter. We have quite a few of these armed protests in my state, in defense of Second Amendment rights, not white supremacy. The guns are not a threat. No one intends to assault

What are the false equivalencies. Socialist firebrands, fascist authoritarians, religious extremists; they always end up with the same result. The real obstacle isn't money, it's the lack of respect for individual autonomy.

It was an exciting and fun read but, Stephenson's Snow Crash was poking fun at the conventions of Cyberpunk. It came out in '92. Neuromancer, out in '84 established the conventions Stephenson exploited, to good effect no doubt.

This stuff is weird, but not cringe inducing like the Eighties. I can't even watch some Eighties movies because of the fashions.
