Satirizing the extreme points of both sides would actually have done a lot to point out Jill Stein's flaws.

That… doesn't make Reign an effective villain on the actual show. And IIRC Reign's comicbook run ended with her retreating from Earth despite fighting Supergirl with a substantial numbers advantage.
The references in the article are substantiated within the article, and they're not used to advocate a pro-nihilism reading. The quote you refer to isn't the theme that's explored in the article, it's a general representation of South Park that O'Neal provides to make clear that he's exploring just one particular…
I fully disagree with your reading. The article makes it clear that it's only investigating a single aspect of South Park, and repeatedly reinforces this by making nods to other things the article has investigated. The notion that writing an essay on a single theme is narrow-minded or implies "protectiveness", simply…
I'm not a fan of AoU, but the Thor scene is a part that I really don't have any problem with at all.
Film intermissions are a great idea and they should make a comeback.
I wouldn't be on-board with removing Ant-Man, but the Spider-Man introduction I could probably have done without.
This is dumb.
They can definitely order episodes, but the show wasn't developed under a SyFy initiative.
A reason for what? Vancouver having the most consistently reliable day player base on the continent? Let's be real, if an American can't name three good Canadian actors, it's because they don't know the names or nationalities of many actors.
Mmmph, now you're going for the high ground. Cute. Just stop maybe?

As someone who mostly knows Dustin Milligin as an extremely kind veterinarian on Schitt's Creek, his turn on this show was pretty damn jarring. Also, this is one of the few "prestige-ish" shows that actually didn't fall flat to me by the end of the season, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what's next.
The hallmark. Really? The stuff that shoots out of Vancouver probably has the best combination of a readily available and well-curated cheap-but-skilled talent base of any major shooting location.
"I know you are but what am I" is still a kindergarten insult even if you take a whole paragraph to say it.
It was "the devil comes from the sky" I think? It was terrible because it was somehow supposed to be an impressive demonstration of knowledge that Lex Luthor knew that Lucifer was an angel.
Deadmau5 played the free concert that my city held for Canada Day this year, and I was pleasantly surprised how limited the cell phone use was. People held up phones, but it was more of a constant smattering of people who just wanted to get a few shots rather than constant picture-taking.
Coincidentally, the day before we were at the Holocaust museum. We learned that weeks earlier the administration had to issue a public statement asking players of Pokemon Go not to play it in the museum… it's like, what the fuck?
"Now, the network has announced that it’s going to keep one of the more high-profile shows to come out of that initiative around a bit longer."
