Rather than hibernating for a year or so in shame...

GUYS. I JUST WANT TO REMIND EVERYONE THAT NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR ANYTHING.

oh, i get it. because he has a history of injury. never heard that one before.

Quality trite lazy Philadelphia diss. At least work in a santa or battery reference.

3) is the most important, I think. I can’t imagine this asshole dropping out, and I really don’t think McConnell wants the headache of trying to remove him if he gets elected. Not a lot of options....

Their manager. I think i have a new favorite Tier III soccer team in Tunisia.

This is different from Ossoff on several levels.

Mmmm, rich people.

I’ll treat this like I treat the old food pyramids from school: I only eat from the top part.

It’s the best you could get before January 2021. Even a Republican executive hampered by a Democratic legislative majority in Congress would still be a clear and present danger to the country and the world.

This is exactly what I’m talking about, though. It’s a normalized concept that it’s ok to destroy someone’s life and put them in danger because they were born in one physical location instead of another. It shouldn’t be.

It bothers me that we’ve let this idea become normalized. “Deport undocumented immigrants that commit crimes.” But why? We don’t deport citizens that commit these crimes. That’s not the statutory punishment. The only difference is that these people were born in one physical location, and these people were born in

Okay but the Packers cut him instead of placing him on IR, despite his assertions that they knew about his shoulder injury when they signed him. So they were using their much more powerful leverage as a gigantic franchise to try and keep their employee from getting proper compensation. That’s like if you tell your

The organization has no moral high ground. They only wanted to save money, nothing else.

> I’m not willing to risk further damage to my shoulder for a 3rd place team without its star QB, but I am willing to do so for a chance to win a super bowl with Tom Brady

You say that like it’s a bad thing. Seems perfectly reasonable to me

As someone who has played football at the collegiate level (D-III, fight me whatevs), suffered a torn rotator cuff the second day of camp, and gone on to start on the scout team all year...yes, you can play through this injury even though it’s an injury that will likely require surgery.

this, put him on IR and we aren’t having this discussion. They released him, and welp, sucks to be the Pack.

Bennett was probably hurt enough to have surgery; or hurt enough so he could still play. While it looks like he manipulated the situation in order to leave a sinking ship, given the general nature of the way players are treated, and the rare opportunities they have to chart their own course, I’m all for *any* player

Crazy how much people overthink how complicated this all is. It’s really easy to understand!

I believe that the same article (or another similar one) spoke of (to me) a far more worrying development. Men following the “Mike Pence rule”: Never be alone with a woman; and do not attend gatherings with women where alcohol is served — either without one’s spouse (or at all).
