Wow, that USDA database sure is nice. Seems very useful and informati..... aaaaand it’s gone. Sorry, no more funding for anything evidence based in America.

Emily Byrd

I’m 99% sure his team leaked this on purpose.

Themistocles said his infant son ruled all Greece — “Athens rules all Greece; I control Athens; my wife controls me; and my infant son controls her.” Thus, nowadays the world is controlled by whoever buys advertising time on Dora the Explorer.

Hmmmm....

Do you kinja bloggers ever talk to each other?

The soccer coverage on this site kind of sucks. Too much European league dick-sucking, and then posts like this. This was a nice, but fairly average goal, and you write up a post for it. Meanwhile, interesting things have already happened in this MLS season’s opening weekend, and no mention at all.

How the hell do they only lose 5 wins off this trade?

Cool, thanks for the explanation. I definitely feel less lost now. I’ve never played, but I appreciate the game.

Ok, rugby seems pretty cool, and I like watching whenever I see it, but I still don’t understand one thing. How does the team without the ball create a turnover? It always seems like whenever a player with the ball gets tackled, their team always keeps the ball. Is there any way to force a turnover?

Nice kick, but that was terrible wall and GK positioning. He had a huge amount of space to work with.

Why does the link to the baby Trump story go to a locked Google doc?

Damn it. I like Ilyasova. I thought the Sixers were done trying to be not fun.

What he said wasn’t even political. These assholes are just searching desperately for something to get mad about.

Then maybe learn from this and don’t speed? Follow the law if you don’t want to face the consequences?

This is stupid. How are the cameras different from cops, besides being more effective? If you don’t like the speed limit rules and penalties, get the laws changed.

CEOs are a lot like NFL coaches. Sure, maybe a couple of them are actually useful, but the vast majority are paid well so that they can be fired when the team/company performs poorly, in order to appease fans/share-holders and convince them that the ownership is committed to making changes in order to succeed.

Wow, I know it sucks to be on the same side as Boston sports fans, but damn, that was a terrible call.

Ask a random person in this country, “should we be dumping more or less industrial waste in our streams and rivers.” I dare someone (not paid by the coal industry) to say “more.” Like seriously, who could possibly want this? How big is the “more waste in my drinking water please” constituency?

Was the first one at least a little bit on purpose? It looks to me like he was aiming right for the spot that Fellaini was vacating. Maybe Fellaini was trying to clear some space for him to shoot through? I’m not saying they expected it to work out, but I feel like there’s a chance it was designed.
