What I’m frustrated with is how there are SO MANY different data sources out there for COVID-19, and so many reports/tables/graphs that slice and dice said data in very specific ways to fit a narrative. Commentors and opinion pieces written very intelligently and convincingly are everywhere “proving” that the virus is

Whooooooosh (joke over your head).

But I’m with you, huge downgrade. It looks less like a car and more like a prop from a cable network scifi movie.

When considering how “cheap” they are, is he including other upgrades to make it safe? There’s a lot you need to upgrade as well on those VQ’s to handle more than 400 whp for the long term. Fuel delivery, internals, transmission, fluid coolers, etc.   At least, that’s how it was 6-7 years ago when I was in the scene.

Yikes, so it was parted to sh1t.  That’s a lot of things being touched multiple times and I have seen enough shady shops to not trust that things were put back together properly.  Definite CP after seeing how extensive the mods were pre-sale.

I really like the car. The number of horses are right for the chassis, it looks to be a professional install, and I prefer a blower over a snail personally as well. A lot of what they did would be on my list if I wanted to modify one of these from stock up.

Dude, context. Raph said “normal” got us here and gets us more cases of coronavirus. As far as we can tell from the context of his quote which was talking about workers at a factory, this is talking about day to day existence. You know, being able to go to the store, school, work, and be within 6 feet of people

I dunno, I’d say that those things are heavily outweighed by millions being unemployed, tens of thousands being dead, and society as we knew it being put on hold.

This was 20 years ago, when you still looked in the newspaper classifieds for used cars and called in person to communicate, lol. He never cashed it, just called and said he ripped it up.

Can someone sell a car when they have a deposit? I’m not sure about a dealer, but private parties can.

I’m STILL not over the douchecanoe that sold his Plymouth Laser RS out from under 16 year old me after I gave him a $500 check as a deposit.

Here’s the thing: “normal” got us here. “Normal” keeps seeing more coronavirus cases springing up. We very much do not want to go back to “normal.” I’m sorry, I just had to get that off my chest.

Are any of those other companies as young as Tesla? Are they expanding as quickly? Do they have as much of a lead on the “next big thing” over their competetors?

Tesla is being valued on future potential, not present revenue.  No one can say if that is right or wrong, but so far anyone who has invested in them has

I’m pretty sure CA and NYC (and other major cities like Chicago) are the salary outliers when considering cost of living relative to the rest of the country. I almost took a job on Long Island when I was two years into my big boy job after college, and their offer was literally 2x what I was making in the midwest. But

(Tesla’s so desperate to move S, X and 3 that the “we will never change prices” guys just dropped list prices across the board)

Agree with others before me.  With a 16 year old behind the wheel this is a hearse, not a wagon.

Indeed, two-seaters are squarely second (or third in my case, because family) vehicles. They just don’t make coupes big enough anymore to have rear seats worth a darn. One of the few things I miss about my old Grand Prix Coupe from back in the day - it did a fantastic job hauling three college friends in the back even

Yeah, I’d love even baby seats in my 350. The passenger seat is the only way to transport anything larger than a duffel bag.  There have been multiple times I’ve had to take the spare tire out just for more cargo room.  Little seats would be fantastic.

Justin quit being flippy floppy. Tuesday the grille was tolerable. Thursday I believe the grill was “horrifying”. But now it’s just “borderling ugly”.

We need a stance!

Hold on Justin, just three days ago on Tuesay you said the large BMW grilles on the 4-series weren’t so bad. But now it’s Friday and they’re horrifying. What changed?

Huh? The guy you replied to just stated that Volts are good cars. Which they are. When was any question answered or even referred to?

I just passed one a few minutes ago while picking up groceries.

Are.
