You can hate capitalism all you want, but what you’re saying is reality and that’s not going to change. And it’s also completely and utterly beside my point.
10/10 sarcasm. 0/10 adding anything to the discussion.
Seconded. I mean, this is Jalop so the anti-capitalism drum needs to be beaten whenever there is a chance, but sometimes doing so in a blind union rage without considering any other angles makes you look silly.
Yes, this quote is pathetic if you assume that this man’s one and only feeling about COVID-19 is that he…
Nice straw man. Please read again where I specifically said that if you drive to conditions, “you shouldn’t need a fancy handbrake maneuver to stop a few feet shorter”.
Nowhere did I talk about “lane changing, sliding, or any other # of emergency situations”. My statement was very clearly only about one technique in…
Yeah, this advice is unnecessary. Drive to the conditions and leave enough distance ahead of you and you shouldn’t need a fancy handbrake maneuver to stop a few feet shorter. Plus, a novice trying this will just lock up their tires in a panic and spin.
But hey, Jalopnik got their weekly check from Team O’Neil!
“WAIT! You can’t shoot him! ... they’ll know it was a gun!”
This movie will never not be so bad it’s good.
Old dryer of ours did that, I think it just has to do with the shape of the “fins”. If there’s any way for a sheet to get even temporarily snagged on them, it can start the twisting motion. I would assume a faster spinning barrel would also make things worse as it would lessen the time needed for a sheet to get snagged…

Tesla performance at Kia price? I could get behind it. So long as it comes in a car shape.
Uh, how can this list not have the original NBA Jam with Bill Clinton’s code??
rakes? hot-takes? bakes?
I think it would be weird if you DID love it.
I heard Montana is nice this time of year.
My wife is 3 years younger than me and nags me weekly about listening to my old music still. Late 90's/early 2000's alt/grunge will never get old!
Two of the staples of my highschool playlist. Well, at the time it was burned CDs with illegal downloads from Limewire but you get the idea.
They’re getting uglier.
The wheels... the massive plastic grill... the love handles on the side... the droopy ground effects... this thing is hideous.
This is a good point. People drove at night in the country for decades without LED bars.
How did they not all die to falling branches, jumping deer, potholes of biblical proportions, washed out roads, and all manner of other rural catastrophes?
It must have been witchcraft, clearly.
The plugin hybrid would be PERFECT for my family. We’d only ever use gas on trips to see inlaws 2-3 times a year. Problem? Even making six figures in the relatively low cost of living midwest... no way it fits in my budget without kicking the loan out to about fifteen years.
Seriously. How do people afford these things?
