I’m with you! Dude at my office here in upper midwest dailies a Scat Pack Chally with the shaker hood year round and it makes me smile whenever I see it. I don’t even know if it has snow tires or how it makes it in some days! Out of the other 500+ cars in the lot, besides him and my Z during the summer, the next

Brother in law bought a white Explorer for my sister two years ago. Still give him crap about it to this day.

Because racecar is so 2012, but it’s still accurate and completely acceptable.

I’m not a truck guy, but that’s a pretty truck.  10/10 would drive.

My dad early retired before 60. For about 3-4 years until grandkids came along to keep him busy, he literally sat at a desk grading standardized HS tests a few days a week. I don’t think in any universe I’d say reading stupid long-form answers from tired and distracted kids is fun, but he did it voluntarily despite

Can David stay?  Andrew is pretty cool too.

Quality of writing here is slowly slipping...

Good lord. This isn’t quality reporting or even regurgitating insightful information. Tesla’s stock has been rising for a while now and it is not news. The fact that some people “see” Tesla as one type of a company vs another is not news. This topic has been discussed ad nauseam here and in other forums for years.

That didn’t answer my question though. In what way does it matter, to an automotive blog, if a financial institution like the stock market “sees” an automaker as an automaker vs a tech company? That’s not even a formal distinction in any meaningful way. It’s just a made up way for analysts to try and explain why a

Neutral: unless you’re playing in the stock market, does it really matter?  Or are you just looking for another way to get Tesla clicks on the morning shift?

Best comment I’ve read in months.  Literal coffee spittle on my hand (thankfully I was resting my chin non my hand).

Bingo. I’m no pro at all, but every track day instructor I’ve had preached grip. Smooth transitions into the corner and rolling on the throttle lets you push and find your car’s/tires’ limits.

That said, it’s easier said than done to live at the edge of grip, especially when you are new. I spun out into the grass on

Yeah, Kristin missed the mark on this one, badly.  Two terrible hot takes in one go.  Woof.

You are a unicorn, my friend. For every one story like yours, there are hundreds different. The one-owner ‘05 I bought went through two turbos, an upper manifold, jumped timing requiring rebuilding both heads, replacing the cats, exhaust, brake lines, and FUEL TANK (yes, they had steel tanks still in 2005) due to

By definition, any game of this genre (gacha) is p2w. Some more so than others. For example, some may have a cap on unit power but paying money gets you there faster, which isn’t so bad. But when a company locks additional power behind a paywall like this, that’s usually when a playerbase revolts and rightfully so.

Subscriptions/monthly packs are a stable of mobile games like this (gachas). And honestly, they’re usually really good and provide the best bang-for-your-buck for low spenders. This is absolutely the worst way to do it though. Players of these sort of games rail against any content that cannot be acquired in-game

2005/6 LGT was the high water mark for Subie design. Simple, sporty, aggressive, but yet subtle. Truly the grown-up WRX we didn’t deserve. Too bad they rusted out and had turbo/timing/head gasket issues by 100k.

Yep, own one and you’ll get hooked. I’m on my 2nd and 3rd and couldn’t be happier with them. I’d likely have a Mazda (Miata) in the third stall as well if I wasn’t already so invested in my weekend toy.

The issue here is he’s using the ‘Murican name of the game, Soccer, but the non-’Murican name for the footwear, boots.  Soccer/cleats, or Football/boots.

The trend is what is important, not the profit of the moment.  They’re in a freefall.  The article says 12 quarters of slumping sales, which means that soon they will not be making money.  I’m just wondering how long it will be until they’re bought out.
