I had this conversation with my parents (mid 60's) recently, and they seemed taken aback by my bearishness on self-driving during my lifetime (I’m 33). I said mostly what you did, about the lawsuits around the“who’s life is more important” decisions the cars would inevitably have to make.

Does the soundbar have an ethernet hookup, or is it only wireless? I was considering the Ultra for our bedroom as that’s the one room in the house that gets crappy 5g wireless signal where, so little Roku stick won’t work. Soundbar is an added bonus if I can get a wired internet connection to it.

I started with Jalopnik years ago, but often felt this was my second Kinja home. I didn’t always agree with the political slants, but the writing and investigative work was superb. It’s a darn shame things ended like this but I’ll be eagerly watching where the writers end up.  Godspeed Diana.

Did they seriously disable/wipe all comments there this morning? Now they have random freelancers trying to fill the void? Might as well shut the site down.

What does this car do particularly well/different at its price point? It’s not the fastest, it’s not the prettiest, it’s not he coolest, it’s not the most storied. It’s just sort of there. A milquetoast, badge-engineered coupe.

I would hope they are safe. I just got concerned when Shane made strong statements like “G/O is killing Jalopnik”, “this is dreadful to watch”, and “it’s likely Jalopnik is next.”

Ah gotcha. I mean, there WERE guys back then that were of the opinion that coils > bags simply because they were more “hardcore”, but I’ve been out so long that I was ready to believe that this was the widely-held opinion now with the stance crowd.

Hadn’t realized the attitude changed in the stance scene.  When I rubbed shoulders with those guys 6-8 years ago, a well-done bag setup got tons of positive attention at meets.
