No worries, we’re in agreement that the A7 in all forms is a stunner.

I absolutely am not incorrect. See exhibits A and B. Exhibit A is an example of an attractive flat front end. Exhibit B is not. It is chunky and hamfisted compared to the sharp elegance of the Mazda.
That front end is atrocious, especially from side profile or 3/4 view. The protruding neanderthal brow kills any sex appeal it may otherwise have had.
If they wanted to design a vertical front bumper, they should have taken queues from Mazda. They nailed that with their current lineup.
Yeah, you’ll be fine if it’s mostly highway. I had to drive a 20' box truck a few times as a 17 year old for a furniture store when the delivery team forgot something. It was harrowing then as a kid, but I made it. I think the only thing I’d be nervous about in your shoes was the trailer with the car... but that’s…
This hit me hard too as a 9 year old. Not enough to make me cry or anything, but enough to leave me feeling a bit misty eyed thinking about experiencing it for the first time. Watching those characters and varied locations I spent dozens of hours with (this was NOT an 8-hour game as a elementary aged kid before the…
It’s one of the oldest mass-production EVs. Relative to most other EVs on sale today (including the Taycan which hasn’t even been born yet), it’s ancient.
Correct, I suppose you can think of it as them upgrading a computer over the last ten years but keeping the same case. New GPU, new RAM, new motherboard, new hard drive, new power supply, etc. But, that means they’ve been building computers for ten years. They know the components and how they play together. They knew…
I was more referring to the performance battle on the Ring, not necessarily the battle of mass-production capabilities/quality control.
It is a really interesting thing to discuss. Porsche obviously has much more experience on the Ring, I have to believe they have the upper hand on all things not-directly-EV-related. They’ve been building well-balanced performance cars for decades... Telsa not so much. But on the other hand, Tesla has been making EVs…
Meant to be more rhetorically-informative for those that didn’t remember the first episode showing the bums down below :) I got your drift.
Yeah, of all the many things you can knock it for... the design was never one of them. I actually saw a Fisker Karma a week ago and it definitely turned my head.
Their living in opulent high-rise apartments while the poors languish on the earth below?
Wait... a sporty car doesn’t want low end torque? You may need to explain yourself a bit there. Unless you’re building a dyno queen, I’m pretty sure that the goal of aftermarket modding and tuning, at least in my experience is to flatten out the torque curve specifically so that you DO have usable power lower in the…
Better wear a helmet in that thing. You’re going to crack your skull open if someone so much as love taps your rear bumper.
He didn’t sing that line... but points for relevancy.
That was my guess as well.
I demand context so I can appropriately dial in my rage levels.
Ah. Yes, I was referring to the other “deals” you can find, not necessarily a first-party permanent. Since this does have a physical release, I’m guessing Target/Walmart/BB will have a rebate/gift card/bundle at some point in the near future. But even besides that, I could have sworn I’ve seen BotW and Odyssey show up…
But let’s focus on the REALLY important issues: how bad were the panel gaps on that Model 3 in the header gif?
Also had it happen to me. Guy ran a red and smashed basically at the A pillar on the driver’s side. My knee got shoved in and hand cut up a bit from broken glass, but I walked away miraculously. Another few feet and I’d probably have had my head smash against his hood instead. I don’t recall any of the slomo…
