Yeah I mean, how many, many, many other first round QBs have had less success than Tebow did, not even to mention his accomplishments in college? I mean the guy was legitimately a good QB in the grand scheme of things - good enough to get to the playoffs and win a game there, which is more than some franchises have

Yeah it was bizarre. He was so afraid of being scammed that he wouldn’t even accept me meeting him at his bank, letting them call my bank to verify the check, and then promptly deposit the check into his account. He was an elderly man from nowheresville with a population of 2,000 though, so I can’t totally blame him.

That you did!  I skimmed too fast from “i’m walking” to “too many cars to bother”.

That completely depends on what you’re looking for. Want a specific trim of a low-volume model in a optional paint color over an optional interior color? You may only find one 3 hours away being sold by an old gentleman who is afraid to accept a cashier’s check and demands you to meet him at a bank and withdraw five

Yes it is different. This would be like BMW having an event to release the next M3 with M-Sport level numbers, and never mention that M3 is the new M-sport 3 series, and there’s a new M3+ coming that is really the new M3.

Aside from the absolutely stupid marketing move to dilute your “V” brand by demoting V to V-sport

Yeah I see rust, I’m walking away in the parking lot.

It turned out fantastic though.  True dedication and the results are worth it.

Go with a friend and get a cheap old gopro. Between sessions, run through the video to get lap times and compare. There’s your competition :)

Yeah, I’m with you. Once kids started coming, a $500 weekend (plus unseen cost of wear and tear on the vehicle, tires, fluids, etc) became less feasible. I’m going to try and swing one next summer though now that I’ve moved within reasonable driving distance of a couple of tracks, saving overnight costs.

Yes, there’s absolutely some overlap. But I think a dungeon crawler is more about the gear grind than the story, while an RPG like Borderlands is more story than gear grind.  This game sounds heavily skewed towards grinding bosses rather than progressing through an overworld and story.

Barrier to entry would absolutely increase and the pool of drivers would logically decrease accordingly.  Maybe this is a good thing?  More rides to around for those that want to get hired on?  I’m not sure either, but there will definitely be people who don’t want to mess with those things you mention.

I won’t crap on you for autoX vs HPDE, but after doing three HPDEs... the seat time/$ isn’t just it. Driving at the limit of 2nd gear on a flat surface is not the limit. HPDE lets you practice a much larger diversity of turns, lines, and elevations, learn how and when to shift, how and when to brake, how and when to

The hood  line/a-pillar are much closer on the soul, but check out the C pillar with the kink, and really the entire rear door.  Might as well share a part number with the Aztec.

That thing gives me serious Aztec vibes from the roof down.

Because it sounds like, from the article, that it has the same gameplay loop as any other dungeon crawler, of which Diablo was one of the most influential:

That’s really awesome, and much different than other microtransaction games where there is no ceiling. More publishers should do this.

Sounds like Kirby vacuum-swallowed Diablo. It’s free up front with a stamina system, like many mobile games. I see no problem with this other than the usual fear of microtransactions being predatory to gamers.

Yep, pushed to the corners. Too much front overhang on the yellow.

David, coming from a mechanical engineering dropout with dreams of designing these sort of cars, you are a national treasure.

I didn’t understand the article any better than anything my Statics and Dynamics professor who gave me a 35% my second year which caused me to walk out in the middle of class and never come

Isn’t the whole point of NP/CP that us, as individual commenters, have a vote and are encouraged to explain in comments the reason for our being NP or CP? That’s exactly what we did. Why are you pitching a fit about the reason behind our opinion?

I’m a pretty above average monkey, but I also hate car payments and still have a ton of grownup things to buy first, so realistically I’d have to part with my beloved Z33 to do anything in the next 10 years. I’ve kept a pulse on the 987 S used market and it’s getting really close though. Miles don’t bother me at all
