Finally!  Now, those of us part of the 99.9% of the world’s population that live outside of NYC don’t have to hear about it anymore.

It’s subjective, but in general sporty sedans are not sports cars, especially if they aren’t a hotted up special trim.  I’ve been around G’s for a loooong time and I’ve never once heard anyone call a G sedan a sports car. If you do that’s cool, but you’re the first I’ve heard!

Takes me back to my college days running a “country” on a military online browser game. TONS of fun in the forums figuring out who’s accounts would be set up to farm specific resources, facilitating trade and setting up the economy, building a military, performing diplomacy via MSN messenger, scheduling attacks to the

Insert you don’t say Nicolas Cage meme.

So much this. Bag on the guy all you want for where he has (repeatedly and publicly) failed at things as basic as communicating with other human beings, but to call him a fraud or anything adjacent is just trolling.

Not supposedly, but in reality :) That was always a joke in my circles. The coupes were referred to as boats, when usually that’s what you’d call a sedan.

I’m not sure if a rear-facing seat would fit the back, but fits the rest of the criteria:

Even though there is a charge port, I wonder how much it would cost to put in a system to charge the battery from the crank as well.  I mean, if it’s part of the control scheme for some (many? most? all?) of the games, why not pull double duty?  Aside from price/physical space in the case, that is.

I pop in the Switch version from time to time to play a match. There still seems to be a decent playerbase (well, enough to get a 5v5 ranked match for Gold/Plat in under a minute evenings EST), but I’ll take your word for it that they are updating slowly.  I’m not familiar with the mobile version.

It’s inefficient. You’re using resources ($) making two competing products that will most likely result in one sale.

I’m still struggling to believe that thing got green-lit. I’ve seen all the shiny new models in various trims over the recent years as I work very near where they are assembled so they’re always driving around with factory tape on bumpers, but these by far are the worst I’ve seen in person.

Yes, wrong word choice, but since you knew exactly what I meant all is well :)

Thanks, see above comment :)

I did, and I missed the hyphenated AoV reference, my bad. I had never heard of Honor of Kings so didn’t know that was related. I had assumed that AoV was still up here since they are still maintaining the Switch version in the US.

The front wheel arch kills it for me. It makes the car look lopsided when you consider that the rear wheel arch is like six inches below the beltline, but the front wheel arch sticks nearly an inch ABOVE it. It gives the illusion that the front wheels are larger, which is not flattering.

I like the raked look and all

Doesn’t Tencent also do Arena of Valor, which is more or less a League clone for mobile? Doesn’t this run the risk of cannibalizing their own sales? Or is this maybe because AoV isn’t as big in the US, and they expect League mobile to catch on here?

And also being free (yes yes microtransactions).

It’s also so hideous beyond description that everything you typed out doesn’t matter.

Re: pooping

This particular bill may not go anywhere, but the general “loot boxes are bad” mentality is only starting. Loot box games were just banned in Belgium this week, causing even giants like Nintendo to stop service for Fire Emblem Heroes there. Other similar “gacha” games have also suspended taking payments from Belgium
