I agree with your point at a macro level, but the problem is people aren’t always making unhealthy choices or that they even understand the choices they make. Financial and relationship stability are highly flexible.

I’m all for this class. The first time a poli sci professor brought up white privilege I was appalled, as a poor white kid, taking it personally, but it was a necessary part of being a college student and having the boundaries pushed. There’s always room for classes that push societal envelopes.

The other day, someone said to me that we should look at the athleticism of Africans and compare to the NFL and, basically, this would prove slavery helped black people.
