Echoing a lot of this, with cackling delight.

at 2/3rd the salary.

Problem with asking lawyers is (a) you’ll get lawyer answers and (b) there are probably a hundred of us mostly sober on a pre-holiday slow day so this will devolve quickly.

After a couple years of playing that game, someone got us Star Wars trivial pursuit. We played two games in one night and never touched it again...because after collecting all the Davin Felths and R5-D4s (to pick two of the less obscure ones) of the universe, the first player to go each game swept the board and no one

I think I still have a couple thousand cards* in their branded longboxes in the back of a cupboard. I should dig them out and try to build a few starter decks to corrupt nieces and nephews.

I’m showing my age, but this was me in Star Wars CCG. I had a tournament deck which was the standard collection of high powered usuals for slugging it out, and I had my fun Dark Side deck which was based on bounty hunters and carbonite and, when it clicked, was pretty much an instant win, but when it didn’t, I’d get

I can fanwank any number of answers that I’d gladly sell to Disney, but every time I start down this path I have to stop myself from veering fully to the Dork Side.

BA leaned heavily on US-based players who did not have international-level skill and, in my opinion, sucked for being too staid. The

Middle ground has always been the issue with Destiny and the casual vs career vs pve vs pvp etc. It’s become a lot less fun for me to casually pop on and do some missions.

I don’t think you can assume any Senator is stupid. Amoral, shifty and likely to stab a newborn to get ahead, perhaps with an inability to spell “potato”

>>I don’t give a shit if Farmer Merle aged it in coffee and beeswax

You’ve Carradined the day with that one.

Thank you for commenting.

It’s a very valid question, but from my experience (in the world of soccer) youthful talent might be Olympics and D1 scholarships but more often than not it just changes the level of D3 school your kid can choose to play at. She’ll benefit more from the Coulda Been A Contendah stories than the actual sweat and tears,

The political discourse on their side has been dumbed down so much there’s nothing left but incoherent rage.

I was the anxious child who had an abusive coach. And my parents bungled it, although like always, they meant well in trying to make me stick through it. Age-appropriateness vs. “some guy who used to play and will do this for $500" would be a key factor if/when I was hiring.
