Just after the hit, the driver’s windshield flies out and you can just see a glimpse of the driver. Then, you no longer see the driver and the bus continues on with no braking. Did the driver dive for cover or was he knocked out of his seat? Either way, no braking!
Good points. The scapegoating and fomenting fear of immigrants are tactics that have been incredibly effective politically.
Patrick.. The comment “The premise of the auto industry since the times of Henry Ford was that workers would make enough to buy the cars they produce.” is myth and always has been. Only the workers and later auto unions wanted to make enough for them to by a car. The owners had no such premise.

I hope I’m not being to anal, but the Google Earth satellite photo of this house taken Thursday, February 16, 2017 shows an orange car with a black stripe on the hood parked on the drive outside the garage with a black car parked right behind. Don’t forget that almost all manufacturers produce unique concept/show cars that are “bespoke” and some even are road worthy. So whether they are made in house or contracted out, given enough incentive, any manufacturer could possibly be persuaded to make a one-off for you.
Talk about not making dumb decisions... Leno has said in the past that he has only used his stand-up comedy money to live on throughout his career. He said that he has never spent his Tonight Show income for over 21 years for everyday living expenses. Seems like a good plan for anyone, if you can manage it.
Do you really have to wait for the investigators to estimate his speed when you can see the damage he caused to both cars and know that the posted speed there is 35MPH? Wow
