Said he’d call ya.
Said he’d call ya.
I’ll let you know if he’s interested.
Does a friend of a member still get the discount?
My buddy was talking about getting a 90s Impala SS and I went “NO! You want a true classic!” and jumped on craigslist and I was like “He’s selling the Montego? Why?!”
Yup. And because I don’t have a trailer, I can’t replace the bed. Trying to repair that would take more effort than it’d be worth.
Nope, that’s actually how I found out!
Here’s a picture of mine. It needs a LOT of body work, because Michigan, but it’s mechanically sound, even with 267,000 miles on it. Its’ name is Kipper, because the lettering on the tailgate was incomplete (DO G) and my best friend thought Kipper is a good name for a dog and it stuck. I’ve got loads planned for it,…
Sadly, I can’t, but I do have a buddy who might. Probably not, but I’ll chat it over with him.
No, I mean it. This thing NEVER breaks. Plus, I swear they underrated them or something. Granted, it’s not stock, but only one or two of the mods would affect horsepower. The rest is transmission and differential stuff.
I saw that! Why you selling it?
I don’t know what you’re on. ‘89 Mustang owned by my Grandfather. Starting to become a classic. Super reliable.
Understandable, I, as any kid raised on rumbling V8s, would simply like one in my truck. It may be that the 5 speed is a factor in it.
It’s not so much capabilities, the Touareg and Cayenne just don’t give me a “truck” vibe. I don’t particularly know how to explain it. TThe Excursion does, though.
To me, a Cayenne is about as truck as my Dad’s Ford Edge. The G500 by description I’d consider at least somewhat “truck-y”
That’s what I’ve heard. Mine does have the 3.9. It is loud, too, since the pipe was either cut or rotted off directly after the muffler. I’d like to find a 360 Magnum for it, since it’s a painfully easy swap from what I hear.
What year Dakota? I’ve got a ‘96.
The only SUVs I consider trucks are Broncos, Ramchargers, K-5 Blazers, and Scouts.
Murderous ones, yes.
