The difference is the fanbase. A Miata fan (the stereotype, not every last one) will NEVER accept the idea of anything else being better than a Miata for cheap track car and God help you if you disagree. I’ve never seen that with Foxbody Mustangs.

The lack of A/C is the one thing I truly detest about my ‘96 Dakota. It’d be a god damned Rolls in my eyes if it had it. A 267,000 mile, rusty Rolls.

The ‘91 we had was completely stock. It was just a daily for us.
