For a street car, cross-drilled rotors are not only unnecessary, but potentially dangerous if the build quality is not up to snuff. I recently went to a Houston coffee and cars event. Saw a few Supras and for the first time in my adult life, they looked old. This car is not aging well in its second life. They looked great through the 90's and 00's but something about the headlights, wheel, and overall shape are starting to show its age.
I'm assuming he was communicating via drive through speaker.
