Yup. This.
Agreed that the 25-year rule should be abolished. It’s so dumb.
Disagreed on selling only one. Sure, they wouldn’t sell many, but literally ford has 1 car for sale. 1. And it’s a Mustang, which isn’t the most practical car.
It may not be “interesting” in the sense that it’s unique in a lot of ways, but it’s “interesting” that America once got several varieties of the Ford Focus, and now NONE. First Gen focuses came in a 2-door hatch, 4-door hatch, 4-door sedan, 2-door coupe (for a bit), and a true station wagon. Then it went to 4-door…
I was thinking about this too but I think auto makers are just looking at the current trends, and/or straight practicality. 2-door vehicles just don’t seem to sell unless it’s a dedicated sports car. Not long ago, there were Altima and Accord coupes, and not long before that a whole lot more, but today, how many true…
I always assume big trucks need a huge space to turn, but I recently learned the F450 has a 5ft smaller turning radius than the F350. A buddy of mine just bought a 2020 F450 and said that that was a major selling point over the F350. Kinda interesting, especially for a very long truck.
JESUS, take the freakin’ wheel already!
Buick. All of them.
My mind keeps thinking they went the way of Pontiac and Saturn when GM had to trim the fat.
THIS was exactly where I fell in love with a bunch of cars: NFS High Stakes - less known than hot pursuit, but basically the same game, more tracks, more cars, and you could race and bet your car. If you lost you the race, you lost your car.
Just realized I got kinja’d. 1989 Citroen CX.
It was the moment my dad picked me up from middle school in his 1989. For context, this was roughly 2002, in the US. I hadn’t yet realized not every household had a diesel sedan with a manual transmission and pneumatic suspension.
It totally depends on the car and the position of said car.
All the Tesla ones like “NO GAS” or “WATTSUP”.
Settle down. We get it.
Ha, the rifle story reminds me of an incident that happened when a van was stolen from the camp I worked at.
Fun fact: I was visiting my parents in San Diego and in the morning my dad and I watched the wheeler dealer episode featuring this car. We chatted about that car and other things, and then we ran some errands.

We got 29mpg from Boise to Tahoe in our 18 Santa Fe Sport AWD with the 2.5.
If you’re a chump it is. Seriously, who cares what bike you have? Just get out and ride. Spending $4k more on your bike wont get you any more KOMs. Just get out and ride for the hell of it.
Since the market is so hot, we’ve actually considered our beloved Santa Fe Sport to get out from payments, and I’ve gotten a really good cash offer from VROOM. Has anyone had any experience selling their car to Vroom?
I actually totally agree, and but it also depends on the car. So many modern cars, trucks, and SUVs have increasingly worse visibility because of either design language or safety, therefore, the rear view camera is a must.
That said, I still triple check my mirrors and never rely solely on the backup cam.
