Knowing warranty small print would the warranty be voided in some way because of improper charging or some other nitpicking?

It’s a guarantee they won't.  Just like Walmart they don't want to be bothered with individual markets. They will also want to screw the buyer over with GMAC financing.  The more fingers in the pie the more chance to play them for a better deal.

True auto manufacturers of a certain age created a system good at the time they started but now want to change it. I couldn't be convinced to buy a car site unseen or never driving it. 

But they do know more than the average buyer.

Is there a certain mileage where original engine is not a bomb waiting to happen?  This does have 150k miles. Can it be assumed the occasional good engine snuck in?
