As someone who has owned both a 2009 Cayman and now a 2005 911 Carrera the 911 is just a more solid feeling car in some way. The acceleration and looks are no comparison, in my eyes the 911 is just more classic. Still at the end of the day you're driving a Porsche sports car and there is no substitute.
Why the hell would they go from manual only to PDK only that just doesn't make sense to me. There is a reason why they kept it manual only and that is because there wasn't enough demand for the PDK in a Gt3. I don't think the show would be has awful as I find it if I hadn't seen every episode of real Top Gear. Every single thing they do is just a slightly twisted off dumber version of the original, that they try to pass off as new.
