Porsché !

You asked someone to explain the Macan to you. I said it’s cool-looking, answering your question.

It’s a Porsche hatchback. What more is there to understand?

That’s the answer I suppose, great car, shitty SUV.

A Sport Utility Vehicle should have, you know, Utility. There is barely enough room behind the second row for a box of Kleenex, let alone “stuff”!  I guess I expect it to carry more than say a Camry, it doesn’t. Also, at 6'2", how’s it feel to ride in the back? Finally, given the transaction price of these things is

In a lot of places when you first start out you can only ride a 125cc motorcycle.

More like Meh-can amirite?!

Macan = $$$$. Pretty simple.

Right badge.  Right size.  Goes like stink.

My mom has a base 2.0 Macan, drove it a few times and was very unimpressed. Typical fashionable ‘cute ute’ with no substance. My Saab 9-5 Aero wagon is faster, has more cargo room and better seats. She thinks I’m officially crazy after I told her I would never trade my car for hers.

Well many of those are people problems. They would exhibit those problems regardless of what car they drive.

The same pack of morons who “would not be caught dead in a hatchback” yet that function is the exact reason they buy these junker suvs and crossovers. They are suckered into buying 4wd ! and ground clearance ! and sometimes I go camping and drive a few miles on a gravel road !  We all know most of them would be better

I got a macan s 2 months ago and I like it a bunch. The appeal is that it feels german in all the most important ways when driving, has a great interior (if youre not obsessed with screens), car seats fit fine but yea its not a family hauler.. I didnt want another sedan, cant put my kids in a coupe, would feel like I

The Macan isn’t tiny.

:(

You live in CT.

You could always give me a star, I will pass it to him/her. I promise.

I would/wouldn’t say there is a point to this SUV. Or maybe it’s some other SUV.

Porsche.

I can at least say it’s a million times better to drive than the Cayenne; which (when I test drove both) is NOT a nimble-feeling car and rattles like a 1992 Suburban.
