Well, it’s a shame.  But then, Helsinki proves that we have vastly more immanent problems than French cars, unfortunately.  Oh besides, right now, the Frenchiest French car maker is Renault, and they are not coming back, so I’m disappointed but not as much.

Ford had a production V4 available in their European cars, in the German Taurus I think. (Not the Taurus most think of). It was also used in a variety of industrial applications, commercial vehicles,  and eventually the SAAB 90 Series/Sonnett. The Ford V4 was actually a really common piece.
