This reminds me of my son’s Mac Book Pro. Battery swelled till the track pad and key board were broken. “Normal part of a battery life span” I was told repeatedly by Apple employees and geniuses! And no refund, apology of any sort. So had to purchase all required pieces and put it back together to save his school work!
