I have the opposite problem. I'm 5' 6" and 140 pounds. I drive a small 23 year old Tacoma. Man it fits me like a glove. But all of the trucks they make now are gargantuan and difficult to Throw shit in the bed because it's way off the ground. Guess Americans are getting bigger and fatter, so of course they need huge…

My only gripe about 1st gear is that I’m not wild about the idea of a unibody versus ladder frame for a truck. IMHO when you start getting into unibody construction that veers away from what I consider true truck “DNA”

I have a friend who is a German car mechanic and swears expeditions are some seriously reliable vehicles. He’s worked on a few that had well over 300,000 and beyond and according to him there wasn’t even any oil leaks

Doesn’t seem like very long time periods for any of these. I and a lot of other folks I know keep theirs for at least 10 years or longer. I’m year No. 24 on my Toyota Tacoma.

 BTW... Did I piss one of the staff off? Every single post I’ve made now for over a week shows up as gray and even when I get out of the grays…
