I have a 23 year old little Tacoma and I plan on keeping it basically forever since nobody makes anything like it anymore. Sort of sad...

I came somewhat close to buying a Colorado 6 months ago but didn’t. In the end the thing is just too big. It looks and is for all practical purposes a full sized truck. That and at the end of the day if you get one that has much of anything you’re looking at a $35-$40k truck.

You’re a college student. Get the civic, get your degree and worry about quirky cars later...

My only advice is I’d at the end of the day be wary of most anything VW makes. My Mother in law had a 2003 VW jetta that had what seemed like non-stop problems. That seems to be the case with many folks I’ve known with this brand. I’d probably go with something like a Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander or even a Ford

This is so dumb... Most people probably don’t realize that biggest BMW factory in the world is in South Carolina where a lot of those cars are then shipped back to the EU. That and there’s also a Mercedes factory and a huge VM factory in Tennessee... Ironic seeing as how these are all deep red Trump states.

My advice: Make sure the vehicle is reliable and solid. Probably not the best time for cute, vintage vehicles...

No.

Not care related, but when I was in my first year of college my family decided we should take a vacation to the UK as they had some friends we could stay with over there. My then 15 year old brother had never actually flown on a plane before. The one we took was a big Boeing 777 or something.

Oh well, sucks for them. Its been great for me so far: Nice weather around 75% of the year, I make a fantastic income, have a house pretty much on the beach, can be in the mountains, the lake, beach, desert, or any number of vastly varied landscapes in under 5 hours, and have met some amazing folks from around the

I know, right? Its hilarious that I can walk outside to 70 degrees, 365 days a year. LOL!

I live near the beach in California so you’re not exactly making me jealous...

I lived in Boston ( Bhastan) for a few years. Every single year whenever October rolled around it would get freezing cold and thus the dreadful realization that the weather was going to suck from then till probably at least March or April if not longer. I did that for a few years and then decided I didn’t need to

Yes. So what? Want me to call it George instead?

That’s actually a much better idea actually. Besides- cars are the worst investments. That 200k car will be worth half of that as soon as it rolls off the lot.

ha ha! I’m not even from there and find that sort of hilarious

Apparently other states- like California- also have higher paying wages and you don’t freeze for 5-6 months out of the year.

It also gets freezing-ass cold, which is why I moved to Cali 20 years ago.

Not sure I get your reference...

How about save your money and use it to maybe put a down payment on a house somewhere that’s not as shitty as NJ...

So... why is Trump still the President at this point? How huge does the mountain of super-obvious evidence need to grow before the powers at be finally say- good- we have enough to make a solid case and start proceedings? With each passing day that trump remains in office is another day the country is either a
