Its not even good redneck entertainment. I always felt that it was more or less a kind of bastard stepchild with limited funds and little if any original programming.

Give em’ a year or two to depreciate. You can for example buy a 3-4 year old Volt for under 10k now even though they were 40k new.

They are the only company making anything like this at any kind of scale. Meanwhile all of the obnoxious hoity-toity luxury carmakers only have concepts and promises of having something in a few years. Something tells me that if making electric cars was easy the other automakers would’ve had something out years ago.

I think its time GM find another Caddy CEO. He’s had several years to fulfill a promise of elevating the brand and yet it is STILL where its been for years, which is that the cars are competent enough, they aren’t bad, but they are NOT taking chances. They need to find someone who is willing to do this because making

I kind of don’t care. CMT is sort of a shitty cable network anyway.

Actually I thought it was pretty awful

This is about the laziest response I’ve ever seen. The answer is right in front of his eyes: Make cars that people want to buy! As in- build the concept cars that people oooh and ahh over! Wasn’t it a clue when a Cadillac concept showed up in a TV show a year or so ago and dealers were swamped with folks who thought

It looks like A big turd on wheels

will the baby drive the car?

Can I fart in the seats?

I’m 40 years old and never even been on a 747. I believe all of the 747's here in the US are now doing cargo delivery. From what I heard they will still be made but only to haul crap back and forth. The killer of the 747 is another of Boeing’s own planes: the 777X , which hauls 80% of the people a 747 will and only

I watched a show where a 747 owned by British Airways was undergoing a required 5-year inspection. That meant they pretty much stripped the plane all the way down to its frame and the engines were totally stripped too. Everything was meticulously scanned and scrutinized. The planes themselves would be used for 25

... because the supply of super rich people with bad taste is now at an all-time high.

The writers on your staff use the word “Hero” way too much...

The point is that this is going to become a problem and most likely a lot faster than you or I could ever imagine. Seeing the vehicles that were on display from Chinese firms at the Detroit show in January showed an awful lot of compelling, market-ready cars that could be unleashed on the US market anyday now. I

Eventually this is something that perhaps should be addressed: That we in the US buy just an absolute shit-ton of Chinese made stuff and yet in China our cars are taxed to death. Seems really lop-sided.

Crap. I was going to use ferrous metals as a rebuttal too...

Dumbass...

That tax bill wound up costing me money and only because I live in an expensive state. The bill is nothing more than a giant handout for the upper crust and nothing more- a bill that all the rest of us will have to pay for one way or another.

At the end of the day my 23 year old Toyota Tacoma will be more reliable than any BMW- both new or old- and that is why comparatively speaking BMWs are pretty much overpriced garbage. Long term the cars simply do not hold up well and as a result I will never consider one.
