Screw them. Like they really care.

Nope. I restored my own car and it took me 2 years. Maybe its you whom ius confused. And now that its friday I believe I’ll take the ole’ Merc for a spin.

Nice guess. Sorry to tell ya that even though I am a cheap son of a bitch I’m pretty well off actually. The car above is a piece of shit and that’s pretty much my only thoughts in regards to it.

Probably because Toyota is like that perfect, straight-A kid who everyone hates as a result

Well the person who owned it before me must have used the gas a lot more. When I bought it I had 29,000 miles on the clock. I decided to not reset the trip meter so I could see what my lifetime MPG was. At 70,000 miles so far it has gotten roughly 166 MPG. The actual car’s lifetime is 143 MPG.

I didn’t realize the voltec warranty lasted that long. My general warranty just expired. The reason I’m keen on the new Volt is that I have a 40 mile commute, meaning I absolutely use up the battery, usually with maybe half a mile left when I get to work. But that’s from driving pretty conservatively. With the extra

Do you own the 1st or 2nd gen Volt? We bought a used 11' Volt 2 years ago, which has been great, but I can’t wait until the new one also becomes available used. I’ve heard these can easily go 60 miles on EV mode, which would make a world of difference for me.

Hush.

I'll take the volt please.

Its another anonymous wedge shaped exotic car. whoopee.

It is. I bet the local scrap dealer would give you $300. So I concur!

I own a 55' Mercury that I bought in much better condition then whatever that thing you are showing me. And it cost $1,500 and drives, which I do. Daily.Have fun restoring your scrap pile.

Screw em’. They’ve made crappy cars for years and now the chickens have come home to roost. I will never buy a VAG product .

I’m talking about what I said above and if you want to say “WTF” then don’t bother.

There isn’t much left to restore. I mean seriously. This will probably be one of those deals where once done there will be like 2 original parts left while the rest were either fabricated, bought or whatever. Hence why IMHO if one really wants to restore one, spend a bit more up front and get a car that hasn’t turned

Sorry but the thing is a nightmare. The new owner will most likely spend way more getting this restored than simply finding another in far better shape. The pic are most likely hiding ample amounts of serious rust and who knows what else.

Oh, and make sure to load up lots and lots of ads too. Like that hipster snack thing. I’m sure readers will love it.

Oh nooooooo! Inferior murican’ parts!!! I can tell since American plastic is soooo unrefined....

Note to Honda and Toyota: hydrogen will never work. You guys should have gone with EVs instead.

well..... shit. Another great singer. Way too young too. RIP Prince, I loved your music when I was a kid.
