Ear!!!

oooohh! I like that as well!

To me better products in generally what I and many others go for. And that is why we choose the Volt.

Why would I ignore the range extender on the i3? Without the range extender is a city car even more so than the one with the range extender. And even at 42k that’s 8k more than the Volt- even the current one.

Oh I see. So in the best case scenario you’re still paying close to $8,000 more for the i3 than a Volt. Yup. Its still an overpriced car.

First of all, the projected range of the 17’ i3 is 130 miles EV. -A far cry from the Bolt’s 200+ on all-EV. On top of that the i3 would need to come down in price by a good 10-15k to come close the matching the Bolt’s projected pricing.

Simply put, I think the i3’s ranger extender is totally half-assed. Like some sort of an afterthought. The 75 mile range is only if you’re somewhat cautious with your driving habits.

First of all... I’m not a “bro”. Second of all... do you even own an EV? Most of us do do not care what the car is made out of... whether its carbon fiber or goose feathers. Mostly what we care about is range and practicality. The i3 is at best mediocre and at most grossly overpriced. 50k for a car with just so-so

There really isn’t anything that “new” about it and at the end of the day its actual useful range is no different than the Nissan Leaf. In the end the range is what matters and if Nissan can deliver an EV made out of plain ole’ stamped steel and deliver the same range even though the BMW uses carbon fiber then BMW

Volt owner here so I am biased thus be forewarned. I dislike the i3 for both technical and non-technical reasons. To me the car is half-baked. The “Range extender” only holds about a gallon and a half of gas and thus not practical for any kind of long distance travel. And so its really not horribly different from a

I see a lot of those euro plates stuck under their California plates and usually the largest quantity of this is in the more hoity-toity areas of Cali. Its usually some sort of sport-ish wagon or sedan of European origins along with permenent ski racks on top. My take is that these are pretty vane, snotty people who

Weird that the Malibu in the above story has Swedish tags.

Seriously wtf. It's like all vehicles made today are simply parts bin cars and trucks. A Land Rover diesel? No thanks

I spent my first 23 years in east TN in the mountains with the snow, mud and other stuff. Still no issues...

Yeah, no shit. I’m 38 so by no means an old fart but last year my wife had one of her friends come over who brought along her younger, early 20’s sister for dinner. She mentioned that she had bought a “cool” alarm clock at Goodwill and was amazed that it had knobs. As in physical knobs and not buttons.

None of my vehicles have a pan underneath and neither have had an issue so far, one being my 20 year old toyota truck. The thing is too that those plastic pans also encourage more moisture to stay longer since there’s less ventilation.

I would have been absolutely livid had this been my car. That said... and don’t take it the wrong way.. but IMHO those underside engine covers are STUPID and often a big, royal pain in the ass. My MIL has a 03’ Jetta and it too has not only a plastic over up top, but bottom as well. Removing and replacing both takes

whoopee. Showing up soon at your local, kinda gentrified neighborhood shopping mall soon...

I found the log about 10X’s more entertaining than the Lamborghini actually.

I was prepared to leave a nasty response since mom had an 80’ Malibu and it was a POS. but this is pretty sweet! I dig it.
