Man, when I was in high school these cars were “the thing”. Too bad the interiors were really shitty and yeah, they handled like shit too. But they were dirt-cheap when used.

Actually I didn’t raise an eyebrow to that idea. They are the only company that was successful in bringing back Indian and are also not afraid to release crazy-ass stuff like the slingshot. Ducatti would be right up their ally.

Volvos at this point are parts bin cars. I actually took a peek under the hood of a new cross country last week that a friend had bought. There were seriously Ford parts inside. That and parts from Vietnam, China, Brazil, and who knows where else. The Volvos of old that we all loved are long-gone.

Here’s another thought: So as of now the average level 2 chargers use something like 60 amps of power. If Porsche is making a claim their charger will be twice as poweful then that suggests something around 120 amps. Most older homes operate using a 60-100 amp service. So therein lies the potential for the proud new

Only problem: how much will this cost? I’m going to guess its going to be a whole hell of a lot more than a model S by far. I also wouldn’t be surprised if the car were 200k+.

I enjoy when farting chickens some

So is the plan forward to simply take Fiats and stick different bodies on them? Part of me finds this depressing.

Dumbest looking car of the year! yay!

Heck: I'll take it even further. Why buy a Camaro when you could buy a Camry?

This seems like an overly complicated idea for not a ton of gain. If those are illustrations are at all realistic it appears that the engineers went to the appliance store and dissected a refrigerator for the parts.

... and as old the saying goes you might outrun the cop but you can’t outrun the radio ( or the helicopter)

... That’s not what I said. I believe you didn’t understand my response but I see via your responses to literally every other person who disagreed with you that you didn't understand them either.

One of my friends just bought a new Volvo Cross Country and as I am always curious about what’s under the hood I took a look. Now- I know that we live in a world where cars are now comprised of global components... but this car took the cake for being put together with a smorgasboard of stuff. I only spent 2-3 minutes

How old are some of you guys? I ask because maybe some of the folks here are too young to remember when these cars were new, but they were big rolling pieces of shit when new. CP all day

Is it? Oh really? So I guess we don’t really need to classify and test the 1000’s of chemicals that enter the marketplace yearly, monitor the public water supplies, have catalytic converters on our cars, classify and clean up superfund sites, or set exposure limits in the workplace concerning either potentially

Yes. Exactly. That system. And therfor since they cheated “that” system the results are the above headline.

Interesting how this is a promo about safety gear and the rider in the video has no helmet...

The shots of the interior and engine bay looks like some kind of awful back yard amalgamation gone horribly wrong. The interior seriously looks like the inside of ford minivan.

Can’t put a finger on it but to me the design looks plain and uninspired. The original looks better. Maybe its sometimes difficult to top that itteration.

From the rear it looks pretty much like an F-150
