Seeing as how I didn’t mention what my feelings were in regards to how I feel about what others felt about what I drive I fail to see how you came to that conclusion. And yes, I do realize I listed almost the entire luxury segment and the comment still stands. I’m guessing at this point you must own one of these

SF the city has to be... the WORST city to own a car in. To me it makes owning either car sort of pointless.

Seeing as how about 99% of Americans spend their commutes in bumper to bumper traffic somehow I’m not buying that anyone driving either car will be having an INCREDIBLE driving experience. I’d still buy the Vette though...

Except for my car which is cool in every way.

Nobody asked for your opinion so shaddap.

If its Iowa I’m guessing it wouldn’t matter what kind of vehicle it was. It would be the same.

No what?

It is isn’t it?

I thought the same thing until the new one came out. The previous generations were straight up mullet-mobiles. The new one on the other hand is pretty sweet.

Explain how any of my commentary suggests I am “jealous”. Personally I wouldn’t buy either car despite the fact I could easily buy both for cash if I really wanted to.

If this was a choice I had to make I’d buy the Corvette. The reason is because I live in the SF Bay Area and it seems like every other richy-rich type of person drives either a BMW, Mercedes, Audi or a Porsche. My reaction to seeing a Porsche is also an almost instant “oh look, another prick”.

Somehow I forgot about this. Anyway about 10 years ago a friend of mine out of the blue bought a Corvair. This car was about the most rusted out piece of shit I’d ever seen. Someone in the past had dealt with the completely rusted-out floor by riveting in thin sheetmetal. So yeah... not a great car to work on.

I’m guessing its because part of what you said: These vans are probably not at all common in Japan unlike here where there’s zillions of them doing boring jobs like carrying people to the airport. A ride in one makes you think they must be the lasy vehicle on earth you’d want to race. In Japan the hilarity of the vans

This is GREAT! To me this is truly what racing is all about: Take something like these- big ass vans that have horrible handling and make it a challenge. I’d watch something like this anyday over NASCAR anyday.

Its around -300 degrees there so the gasoline would probably freeze and the tires would shatter

Some of the new caddies also look pretty mean. So too does the new escalade IMHO

I rode in a crown Vic can a few years ago and the car had 750,000 miles. Sure- it rattled like a tin can but I would too with that many miles

This has to be one of the more underwhelming EVs on the market.

Not exactly... thje cause of the recession was started back in the early 80’s. As soon as Reagan came into office one of his early acts was to limit the regulatory powers of the SEC which in turn created an environment where things such as home loans could be more easily sold upriver and in turn theoretically remove
