The Wii U is a shitty excuse for a console that was obsolete as soon as it was announced. Hard to defend at this point.

Goddammit, you guys are fucking dense. It's not about whether or not we can afford a new or used game, it's the fact we're being told what we can do with our property. If I want to let someone borrow or buy my game, I should be allowed to do that. The person that receives my game should not have to pay again to

The right IP will change my mind, but I will be a lot stingier with my money. I already don't buy any COD games because honestly, like the Madden series, once you've played one, you've played them all. I won't buy any games or take any chances on games that may suck because I won't be able to sell it to anyone.

Since these assholes keep comparing it to the movie industry, their logic suggests that when I take my Avengers blu-ray to my friend's house to watch on his blu-ray player, I should pay retail to be able to watch it with my friend because ZOMG HE'S WATCHING THE MOVIE FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because as we all know, once companies kill or corner a market they ALWAYS lower the prices of their goods/services. Why not go to retailers and strong-arm them into giving you a cut? But that's too easy...you'd rather take away consumer's ability to choose. You're telling me that you can haggle over exclusive DLC

I never understood the hate for the Transformers series. They're movies about gigantic robots that transform wreck shit on a colossal level based off of toys, comics, and cartoons.

I love that these 2 new consoles will be on sale in about 5-6 months and their marketing plan is to make the consumer as confused as fucking possible. I'll just let the early adopters be the beta-testers. This is getting so ridiculous.

The consoles are in quite the pickle. Any scenario turns to shit for them and publishers.

Either
A) Gamers don't buy these consoles en mass (or at least a significant portion) and they have consoles collecting dust, losing them vast amounts of money.

So what are these publishers going to do when sales of their DRM games tank? When sales slow, retailers are just going to heavily reduce the prices. Are they going to tell retailers to go suck the big fat one? Yeah, Best Buy is on thin ice, but Amazon is still a major player for now and the foreseeable future.

Why post an article where you answer your own question?

I also noticed people up there saying that like movies in theaters, video game companies are selling us an experience. True.....however, when I buy the fucking blu-ray or DVD it is now mine. My disc. My movie. My fucking experience. As long as I'm not using software to rip it and share it online, I can do

I would love to let you borrow it bro, but *wait for it*
it's tethered to my Burner account and only I can use it. I can let you copy it, but it'll cost you full retail to paste and post it online.

I'm getting really tired of people redefining the term "property." Whether I bought a disk, a digital download, or whatever form it is distributed IT IS MINE. I paid for it and I own it. It's mine until I break it, lose it, or let someone else have it.

My favorite thing about your comment is that the fucking thing hasn't even been released and people are already lining up to lap up Microsoft's bullshit. They're trying to ease us into a reality where we don't own shit (guess what happens when that cloud fucks up? Won't be good for consumers, I can tell you that).

Co-signed.
Sony is going to get my money so hard it's not even funny. Shit, I'll get a WiiU just to collect dust before I pick up this new MS system. Which is a damn shame because I enjoyed the hell out of my 360, PS3, and Wii.

If it's any consolation, MS has just made my decision so much easier. No Xbox for this household. With this and the WiiU floundering in purgatory, it looks like a PS4 household for the next few years.

Build a bridge and get over it already.

It's on NBC...so they'll find a way to kill it asap.

LMAO! Oh, Aladdin...you scamp!

Honestly, there are times where I may go that you guys are over-exaggerating (not always and I can't really think of an instant, but I do...differences of opinion, ya know?), but this wasn't bad and it's funny to boot. I mean, he acts as if the line's not drawn here and now, the next
