I will always love id software for bringing us Doom and basically popularizing the FPS genre, but they really do face an uphill battle.

@Road Rage: I think he's really trying to push the fact that all the games are very much the same and the two disc system on the 360 won't really be a hindrance because it will come at a natural breaking point.
@thegreatpablo: Better late than never!
@Female Orca: Because of the blurring and effects, I thought for a second it was in 3d and went for my blue red lenses. I was disappointed.
@gerrycomo: Hahah ohhh yeah. Back in those days, my dad used to own a restaurant and next to it there was an arcade, so we took his hard earned money and deposited it into MK2 nextdoor haha.
@ifarah12: haha... i actually enjoyed them too, i just keep it on the down-low
@zweitplatzierungsboy: for sure, 2 is still my favorite.
@WampaCow: 1981, for some reason I always choose 1981.
@onlysublime: hrrmmm that could be cool, it's something!
@AFcakey: =(
please please please d pad and buttons! they're going the right way with the games, the controls are just lacking a tad. do they think people would feel odd having controls like that on their phone, like it's a toy? i don't really understand.
@Mmm: Yeah, you're totally right, that would be the best. I totally don't wanna buy all my games over, but yeah, they're not gonna do it. =(
@LAGamer: yeah for sure =/
I think I'd rather have them still producing 60gb versions that had BC... no? Not gonna do it? Whell all right then, I'll take the extra GBs.

no one invited AOL Explorer to the party?
I really liked MK 1 and 2, 2 especially, and I appreciated what they tried to do with Deadly Alliance. But yeah, I think the series peaked with 2 and it hasn't been as good since. The new one looks pretty good though, so here's to hoping!
@Baraka_Obama: gotta drum up the excitement somehow, right?
@Kenny: Sadly, I agree. Though at least with games like Doom, the dumbing down factor isn't too severe because the gameplay isn't super complicated; only the controls are getting crappier. As long as they keep all the nice graphics options intact for PC, i'm happy.
im still watching the livestream.. he doesn't move, he just spouts information. it is amazing though, to watch someone talk about a subject where they have a ridiculously huge knowledge base. long live carmack!
