I decided to go ahead and start reading the book, and I’m about half way through. I’ve been really surprised by remembering a great majority of the studies McRaney cites, and a few I wasn’t aware of to this point. This has been, thus far, a fantastic read.

User604, above, recommended “You Are Not So Smart” by David McRaney. As per a conversation we had with each other fairly recently, I would highly recommend this book. I’m only about half way through it, but it’s truly an entertaining book, and will likely be an eye opener for many people who read it with an open mind.

I just picked this book up. It’s in my queue and I can’t wait to get to it.

Eric, if this topic is interesting to you, I suggest reading,

“When you have a system based on the idea of trying to confirm results, odds are you’re going to end up finding whatever it is you’re looking for.”

For all the reasons listed above, and also my early adoption price of $7.99 a month. It has everything I want or need, including some rare and hard to find tracks and albums. I’ve tried almost all the other services but keep coming back to Google Play Music.

Question and comment. Will this work with any citrus fruit? My wife hand squeezes a cutie (not me) every morning as [art of a breakfast drink. If this allows her to get more juice, it’s something worth doing.

As someone who spent his service time in the Navy, I love this. The captain sounds like a lousy officer, but the goat should have stayed.

People have various opinions on this particular steel, but if the blade is reprofiled and sharpened properly, it holds an edge quite well for an inexpensive steel. It might be be CPM S90V steel, but I’m not a steel snob, either. In my book, for what I’m willing to spend on a blade, this is fairly high quality steel,

This is one of the best knives mentioned in this post. It’s simple, has high quality steel, and is without a serrated edge. I can’t stand a serrated on an EDC. I especially like the shape of the blade as it travels from the straight edge to the point. This seems to be where I use my knife a lot, this this particular

I have an EDC S&W similar to this, but a little older. Mine lacks the serrated edge, which I’m not a fan of on an EDC. I keep mine razor sharp and I always have to warn people if I let someone use it for a moment. It keeps an edge for an insane amount of time and only needs a small amount of maintenance sharpening

would be read by a lot of people, many of whom would probably hate and mock it

Mocking one person for their religious belief is intolerant. Period. It doesn’t matter if it’s Christian, Islamic, or whatever.

I couldn’t care less about Tebow or what he believes or doesn’t believe. My only real point was the quality of the reporting was particularly low-brow and sophomoric. Intolerance isn’t limited to Christians or conservatives, in general. Point out intolerant behavior to liberals or conservatives and they’re likely to

You’re barking up the wrong tree. I’m not a Tebow fan, although I enjoyed watching him play in college. I think we all knew even then that his skill set wouldn’t translate well to the NFL. Despite this, this particular post was extremely unprofessional, and in fact, juvenile.

Oh, I’m quite aware of the double standards of many liberals and that many of them aren’t really capable of even comprehending their own double standards. I’ll remain standing, thanks.

The author is clearly being intolerant. The irony is that if someone were to refuse to sell a gay couple a wedding cake because they believe it’s counter to their faith and immoral, the author would likely be one of the first people to shout how intolerant that person is. On the other hand, there’s also a good chance

You are all wrong. Here is the the only underwear worth mentioning.

I remember my days of learning to suture when I was in the military. It might sound odd, but I came to appreciate suturing as a very specific art form. Not everyone who learns to suture seem to understand this. The banana lesson seems to be a little silly, but then again, I first learned to administer injections by

I’m able to map just about anything I need to this keyboard when I’m playing a FPS. There’s a boat load of buttons to play with here. In the past, I mainly used it for Team Fortress Classic, TF2, Counterstrike, Portal, Half-Life, Left 4 Dead, Battlefield games, Far Cry, COD, and pretty much any other FPS I’ve picked
