And putting on their makeup while eating breakfast and smoking a cigarette.

Large lungs do help, obviously, but it also helps to have a higher amount of red blood cells. I watched the TED talk recently by Blaine about his training for the world record, but I don't remember him saying anything about increasing red blood cell count. It's a fascinating talk, and well worth a listen.

That's seriously, very cool. I like how you did that with the Sugru. I had a pair of Sony headphones just like that. I think they lasted a month, possibly two, before one of the earbuds stopped working. They sounded great until then. I need to do something like this. Thanks!

I can't think of too many activities which can be more destructive to the human body than recreational running. I see people in my town running all the time, and I shake my head. I'm not talking about kids. I'm talking about grown adults. Still, even for younger people, running can be terribly destructive. The

Is that an Altoid tin in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

I checked out 2 surplus stores in my area. The smaller store had it priced at $54, while the larger store had it priced at $52. I should have purchased it online and saved some money, but I had the bag in my hands and money in my pocket. The only other bag I've looked at was the Maxpedition Monsoon. I'm a sucker

Thanks! It really is a great bag. After just over a week of carrying it, I absolutely love it. I wanted a Maxpedition, but I'm extremely pleased to have saved all that money AND found a bag that meets or exceeds the Maxpedition variant. You can find them at Army surplus stores, but you'll get a much better deal

Navy vet, here, and there's nothing too wrong about being a little biased. It is a terrific bag. I've been using mine for a week now, and I'm loving it.

It's a great bag, and yes, the price point alone makes this a steal over the Maxpedition version. I've had mine a week now and I'm loving it.

I just started using a Condor EDC bag, and love it, so far. In my opinion, it has a few things the Maxpedition doesn't have, and it's far cheaper. If you want a messenger type bag with military grade durability, look no further. It's an excellent EDC, or go bag.

I bought the pro version and haven't looked back. I love that he finally baked in the ability to sync reading positions across devices with either Dropbox or Drive. With my 20,000+ ebook library, I doubt I'll run out of things to read any time soon.

Flying crowbar? For some reason, and I'm not sure why, but this made me think of, Rods from God. A properly engineered "Rod from God" would have all the force of a nuclear bomb, yet none of the fallout. It's a win-win...

I purchased my first computer back in 1987. It was an old 8088 processor with 640k of RAM. I immediately purchased a hard drive for it, along with a color monitor. It came with two 5" floppy drives, but no hard drive. I gave $120 for a 20 megabyte hard drive in some computer store in the San Diego area. It only

And another shot.

I found this bag at a recovery outlet and gave $6 for it. I knew it was worth that and far more, but it wasn't until I did the research on the bag and found most places were selling it for over $100 that I realized how great a bargain it was. Unfortunately, it was the only one they had at the time.

My Leatherman isn't the Wave, but it's very similar and hasn't been manufactured in many years. It's a great tool. I hadn't thought of doing paracord around my caribiner. I've seen it, but for some reason hadn't thought of doing that. I guess I should. In the winter, I carry a small ziplock of dryer lint and

And he probably still wonders why he can't get a date.

My go bag always contains at least one knife, but then, I always have at least one knife in my pocket, and sometimes, two knives. My go bag also has a decent Leatherman multitool, along with a dongle here or there, a couple of tablets, chargers, Chromecast, and a bevy of assorted USB cables for any and every device.
