LOL! I promise you, I've seen far far worse in my career. I've seen the human body mangled in just about every conceivable manner, but I sometimes forget people aren't used to that. Sorry!

No, it's a "Giant Cell Tumor" which keeps haunting me. I really thought (hoped) they excised all the tumor cells on my third surgery, but apparently not. With the third surgery, the doc took out what seemed to be a decent portion of the tissue on the inside of my finger, I suppose, hoping to catch all the cells. …
I think my wife is used to stuff like this now after 26 years in one area of healthcare or another. The first real hand injury patient I had was a guy who had his hand caught in a machine and when he pulled his hand out in panic, it created a circumferential injury starting at the wrist. As he pulled his hand out,…
Great first comment... Lurker! ;-)
Jesus, it doesn't help that sites like Gizmodo help fuel the fanboy fire by posting stories with obvious bias one way or another. Still, those of us who love technology, gadgets, and science, come here for all the tech news we crave. Those who get it, also love the humor presented here and keep coming back for more.
Fine, I pulled the trigger on this. With my free Prime shipping, it's a great deal. Are you happy now!?!
Nah, she'd have to be riding behind me on my flyer!
Exactly what I'll be doing when I get home from work tomorrow!
Revolution spoiler alerrt if you haven't watched the first episode.
Torv does an amazing job, but so does Noble. I love how their mannerisms can change ever so slightly. I can't imagine having to pull those subtle changes off on camera like that. OK, I finished season 4. I guess it's time to dive in with Season 5. wOOt!
Dude, the first Ultraman series rocked. I guess there was a later series, but I've never seen it.
I agree! I'm new to Fringe. For some reason, I never caught it when it first came on. When Amazon released it as a free show on Prime this summer, I jumped at the chance to watch it. I've gone through all but the last two eps of season 4 in a VERY short period of time, and I'm planning on finishing those today…
Yeah, I spent 6 years in the Navy and didn't realize they had ships, either.
Yeah, I'm a Christian, I think this guy is a grade A kook.
It's called High Performance CPR. Obviously, at that rate, it's called High Performance for a reason. So no, it's not too fast. I'll be using this video in the future when I teach CPR classes.
Yup, that's what we're calling High Performance CPR.
I always do compressions to Queen's, Another One Bites the Dust.
I would agree with you on this statement 99.9% of the time. I have seen a patient who remained conscious while compressions were being performed and would lose consciousness the moment we stopped. Other than that, yeah, you are absolutely right.
Neither was mine! I'll be using this video when I teach CPR classes from now on.
I didn't get that from your post in any way. It's just an extremely different culture with different ways of doing things. On top of that, it was a great question. :-)
