German made Mark 1 Ford Capri with some sort of modern engine swap. Like this but ignore the wheels

Let’s forget talking about the focus RS, that’s been done. Let’s talk about how freaking great this RCR was. He dialed back the weird a little, was critical but you could tell he thought it was a good car, some weird comparisons and thoughts, touched on family, and the online community that is the car world for many

$8k for a c4? Goddamn. Around here they start at $2500 for older models, and $3500ish for later ones with the LT. I mean there are $8000 c4s around here, but not the kind you’d make into whatever is in this video.

You bite your tongue. The 944, especially naturally aspirated ones, are fairly reliable. With mine there isn't much in the way of electronics to go wrong, and these engines are stout as long as you keep the timing belt changes frequent.

It really is fantastic. It looks like a porsche(round headlights) while being its own car. And yes, a big ass, naturally aspirated 4 cylinder. I too would go for a 968.

Sparkles’ friends and family!

Lawd almighty them some big ass brakes! Nicely done.

Goddamn, I didn’t know anyone had these types of deep seeded feelings about Minnesota(ns). *Former Minnesotan now living out west that loves Minnesota.

This happened in bicycles with bottom brackets and crank sets. There is no legitimate reason that putting a crankset on a bike frame should take a chart of this detail(and I think it’s simplifying a few of the more unique “standards”).

I like this concept quite a bit and I like it more because they said if it was produced it would likely come to the u.s.

A little cheaper, Google Toyota SFR

Drift mode fail? No, no, driver fail.

I wonder if a person without some sort of pre drive build up might find it more sporting. I had kind of high hopes for it but then again, I always had this thought in the back of my head that if ford wanted people to expect it to be sporty, they probably would have called it Fusion ST.

The Audi I5 engine occupies a special place in my head right now because it’s apparently the easiest engine swap in to a Porsche 944. Of course by easiest I mean a bunch of custom work for mounting and exhaust, matching up a bunch of 20-35 year old components so the bell housing and torque tube play nice together, and

Exactly, I’ve ranted about this before so I left it out of my post but the beetle is a golf with a different, less practical shape.

No, price cuts alone aren’t going to do it. Then what will you ask?

It varies but yes trucks usually have a slower speed limit and I believe some sort of speed limiter on their vehicles is quite common.

1. Volvo XC70 instead of the v70r - still pretty wagon-y but you save money by not springing for a the badge/power that she doesn’t seem to want anyways
